Understanding TABE Testing

Literacy Pittsburgh tests all our students at least once each year using a variety of different assessments. The type of test given depends on student goals and incoming level. If you are working with an advanced-level English Language Learner with an academic goal, or a student working on building their reading and math skills, they are likely to be tested using the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education).
