Hi. I post all my videos in 2 languages: Hebrew and English, so please look for the English version of each video. Sometimes RU-vid posts the video in shorts and sometimes in videos. They're all there in both languages.

Hi dear that's a detailed video thanks a lot for that..I practiced the initial yoga poses to heal the diastisis recti...now when I check I feel there is only a fit finger gap but when my husband checks he says there is a three finger ...so please clarify my doubt ...can I do normal belly exercises to reduce my upper and lower tummy..or else please let me know the exercises to reduce my upper and lower tummy...lots of love ..thanks in advance..

About the difference when you check: are you and your husband checking the distance between the muscles at rest or when you lift your head up off the floor? The more you lift your head up, the narrower the gap will usually be, so it's best (and more accurate) to check at rest. I have a whole online course for healing diastasis recti which gives you a lot of information and gradually progressing exercises. I'm not able to answer your question as all the preliminary information (regarding your alignment, breathing, activation of your pelvic floor, etc.) is essential before you start the exercises. Hello, can diastasis cause constant constipation? Its a year now, i tried everything to fix constipation, and its not better, and i have diastasis as my stomack look like i am still pregnant

A causal effect of diastasis recti and constipation has not been shown. However, constipation may cause excessive pressure on the abdominal wall which could negatively affect the diastasis. Everyone is different and different things work for different people. Have you tried Ayurveda? It takes the individual's constitution in account and the emphasis is on eating foods that are suitable for your constitution and that your body can digest. In addition, you can learn how to activate your core effectively, even if constipation is an issue.

I've had this condition for 45 years, due to enormous weight gain after pregnancy. Recently lost most of the weight, but still look pregnant, and thought surgery was my only option. Will exercise help?

It depends. In most cases, exercise will definitely improve the look and function of the abdominal wall, though nobody can promise a flat belly!! If there is tension in your connective tissue at your midline (your linea alba) when you activate it, e.g. lying on your back and slightly lifting your head, then you can likely heal it substantially and avoid surgery. But remember that it's not only exercise that's important - you also need to look at your body habits to see if they are putting unnecessary pressure on your abdominal wall.
