Understanding the Carter Thermoquad Carburetor 

I was wrong on what I said about the carburetor number. The early TQ's number started with a 4 not a 9.

No better sound than hearing a TQ being flushed on a Big Block Mopar!!

Really looking forward to this series. I have a 78 Dodge pickup with a 440 that came with a thermoquad. I took it off to rebuild it, with a kit I bought from you several years ago. Threw a 1405 Edelbrock on the truck just keep it usable while I researched and rebuilt the TQ. Well I got it rebuilt but never did swap it back out. I been itching to switch it back and this series may just give me the motivation to do so. Ill pull the TQ off the shelf and go through the adjustments with you when you post your videos. I followed the factory service manual I have for my truck when I rebuilt it a few years ago. It has a very nice, in depth section on the TQ. One thing I would like for you to address if possible is the two little cups expoxied on the bottom of the phenolic bowl. Both of the ones on my TQ were broken off. I reexpoxied them with a product called marine-tex. I dont recall where I heard about that product from specifically but I saw it in several forums and such when researching that particular repair. Have you got any experience with this repair or the marine-tex epoxy?
