Someone wrote "maturity when .... Not gonna make you successful", I think maturity is when you pause for a moment and think if you became a successful entrepreneur and Raj calls you for a conversation, how would you answer these questions! Shantanu's own podcast, and here with Raj, is so incredibly insightful, he always comes across as someone so articulate, someone who understands the startup business so well. These podcasts are my go-to podcasts when I'm in a long drive or doing chores. So much better than watching other nonsense on TV or whatever.
This podcast is just crazy. It has blown my mind insanely. Bombarded with out of box thoughts. Now I am come to know that only why successful people are saying that "you become what you think". Loved it.
If anyone wants to build a consumer brand from scratch, this is the podcast. Man what insights. I keep coming to this podcast and everytime I get new insights from this. Shantunu man one day would love to meet you and hear from you. Thanks Raj for this gem of a episode. The wisdom it shares here, it's wild.

'Good friendship with good people for good amount of time '- hire them 5.'learning consumer shift' 6.'Show off proposition' should be there of your product. Brand value.Eg- Redbull. 7. Sometimes unsexy businesses have very sexy financials. 'Take Insecurity ideas'- pet safa, keshking etc 8. Make 20 crores fast. "Once you tasted blood ,you will crave more" 9.Distribution is most imp. Distribute like a boss. 10."Dukaandaar ko believer banao" means distribution in hand.
An absolute gem of a podcast. And what a phenomenal leader and a human being, I hope more people interview Shantanu so we get to hear more of his thought process and get to learn from him. Have rarely seen any indian business leader with such levels of intelligence coupled with genuine authenticity. "Off the charts" as Shantanu would say!
THIS PODCAST WAS AMAZING! 🔥🥇🔥🔥 Idk how did you guys made me stick to my screen for 2 hours straight!!! Its was a greaaaat conversation and i learned a lot of things! 👌🏼 💯
It’s really crazy. I run small business and this episode forced me to share to my friends. Thoughts and points which were shared in this episode made my eyebrows raise so many times. This is real meat. I am so thankful to you. Such a valuable Time I spent today watching this. RU-vid’s one of the gem content. Loved it.
Raj i have started watching your video and its really helping me. Thanks for creating all these contents. I have watched the full video for Oyo. For me the situation is reverse. I am in USA and i am writing this cold message to startup a business in India. I would like to connect with you guys " The sharks ". For me also its not only to make profit as a mission. The mission is to make Indian youth self dependent instead of relying for a government job. Trust me i will keep sending 200 cold messages with a belief that two will respond me back.
As you talked about building brands and products, ever thought of building a service which everybody attunes to , Have someone who has made a great service company and has earned huge. .. Thankyou
You have'nt just created content.. you just developed a thought process for the people who were watching and struggling what to do next in life and you show them the way.. So that we can really do and say This Is Our TIME ❤️

@Raj Shamani Why don't you start making offline get-togethers for aspiring entrepreneurs where you invite someone like Shantanu Deshpande on your set and charge a fee from each person who comes in the hall/auditorium. Just a suggestion.
Good to see the growth in your podcasts and your way of taking forward the conversation. Really enjoyed this episode, loved Shantanu's "I'll tell you what" insights! Hope to see similar episodes in future.
Fun Fact: Santa Claus' outfit colour was never red; in fact, there was not even a colour specified for that. It was usually up to the artist, but then Coca-Cola started portraying Santa Claus in their iconic red colour as part of their marketing campaign, and for some reason the whole world adopted their portrayal of Santa.
That work life balance thing is super true, I mean your work is your life. If I start a business some day then I have to put my 100 percent in it, if it was that easy to build a business by not putting much efforts and not being under any stress then wouldn't be everyone rich? Loved this podcast, usually I listen to it on spotify but I had time today. Thanks for all this content
One thing Shantanu said at last that in relationship you can replace anyone except your child , I think its not child it would be your parents, except your parents you can replace anyone though it's brutal talk. .. but I think Shantanu will agree
About the work culture. It is important that you like what you are doing. This can be because you have consciously chosen what you wnat to do or the organisation provides an environment for learning, development and recognition. Lots of organisation are very politicised and exploit employees ( dont recognise , abuse, threaten) . This is because they know how important the job is for you and your family. They take advantage of your vulnerability and misuse the power and position they hold
So much power Raj I've no words to thank you enough for conducting this interview. It has so much to learn. Love and respect for you from bottom of my heart ❤️
Fantastic conversation, but since you asked for constructive feedback, here are my 2 cents, I was listening to your podcast in my car and the audio of you and the guest were at different volumes, so much so that I had to turn up for him and turn down for you. Hope you fix that, otherwise amazing content.
All your podcast are amazing and value adding to my life. Just wanted to give one suggestion, like when you guys laugh the sound is high and we need to reduce the sound then we need to increase it again. If some mechanism can be build to control the sound at same level it will be great.
My sincere request to you Raj, pls keep the conversation in English, if your target audience is Hindi speaking then ok if diverse then ensure no Hindi in between. Would like to hear from you
Maza aa gya bhaiya🔥🔥 Shantanu bhaiya just opened a new perspective on many topics... Especially the UNSEXY Business part, it was super awesome and mind blowing. Love you both❤
Bro will you please please help us to create the main point doc for every podcast in a manner that we can use it later, if we are unable to watch the whole video again, sometimes we miss the key information about a little part of some podcast, I do make notes while watching your video, but possible will you able to do that for your community, if it's not bother you and any extra steps which is discomfort to you and your team, thank you and love your videos❤
