Dear Oracle I have been enjoying this GC video immensely - I have been reticent about building real time HFT trading systems middle tiers in Java due to the GC cycle, and appreciate the detail provided for hotspot and G1. One question I have - 'In assuming that Reflection would need to be accounted for, is it unreasonable and why would it be, to make the GC into a native C++ task, where assuming to be possibly faster' ? Thanks in advance for your answer -
