Thank you so much for the video, there was a lot of information and giaan that can be taken away and absorbed. I'm a 17 yrs old boy and I thank you for the new perspective and wisdom.

I think in today's society we need more people like you to inspire others but I think the problem is that most people don't have the confidence to show off their love for the Guru and can be shy (hands up, this is me) and so the best way to help people might be to give them the confidence to openly show their love for the Guru and speak with pride. I think this will go a long way with raising the next generation to be fearless and not loose their Sikhi. Waheguru Je Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Je Ki Fateh.

Why is there so much echo in this recording? Can the audio be balanced before downloading. The echo is really irrelevant. It takes away the focus .

The important role of the Divine Feminine for even if we are male or female, for our Husband Lord we are all beautiful brides and it is neccesary to maintain our house clean and pure to offer Him a place to dwell on us. Thus, we shall become instruments to transform this world and be the khalsa who spreads light and love all over. @@basicsofsikhi Keep shining Basics of Sikhi!!! I am sending you my support and Love

Two expressions of the same God, waheguru. May we have compassion for those who feel caught between the two, or alienated from both, even as we stay true to Guruji's teaching.

Hi I wanted to ask do you believe women can pursue a career as well such as being a doctor or lawyer? You were saying that women should not choose career over raising children. I’m confused on what you mean by this.

Always have the capability to have a decent job should you need to work. I have seen women being abused because they were completely financially dependent on their husbands and their husbands were no kinder to their children. That said, not all marriages are toxic.

My view - yes of course if that’s what you want. The problem is that there is pressure for women to have both a career and kids. In reality it’s sometimes possible/sometimes not. for women who want to have children and not have the pressure of career can be seen as negative by the world. It’s your choice what you want.

You have misunderstood: Of course women can and should be able to pursue a career - and the point was that we should not shun, or look down upon the idea of being a mother. It is a divine gift.

It's means women should not prioritize career over family if there's only one option to choose btwn two......

forgive any ignorance, but I thought Waheguru was without gender, yet in the context of the Kalsa, they are feminine before their Husband Lord? this, superficially from my limited perspective at least, sounds a bit contradictory, and also as if feminity is synonymous with submission or servitude. which are not negative things unto themselves, but if that is the case, would it not be beneficial for men to also embody feminity and feminine energy along with their masculine energy? if masculinity and feminity resides in us all, should they not both be fostered in positive ways for both men and women? if neither Waheguru nor The Guru see a distinction between the souls inside male and female bodies, why should the body that the souls reside in cause so much distinction between familial roles? now of course a female body is the one that bares the child and bares milk for the child. I don't want to sound as though I'm denying that biological fact. but beyond those stages, should the fathers and brothers not also seek to embody and exemplify positive masculine *and* feminine traits for their family, and the women do the same? the duty of childrearing should fall on the shoulders of both parents, and after a child is weaned, this could theoretically be divided equally, no? I don't mean to sound accusatory either, I am genuinely asking these questions because they were sparked by this short talk, I know that only so much can be said in an hour. I want to learn more about Sikhi

What makes you say that? It has given women a lot of freedom: to become educated, to work, to be independent in other ways.
