That story of the sadness of the Holy Spirit being similar to the sadness of a child going to bed without a bedtime story hit really hard. It made me see that when God asks me to do something, It's because he loves to be in relationship and wants to do things with me so we can enjoy each other and other people can enjoy him as well. Thats so powerful. Its less of a pointing finger from God and more of his open arms just waiting to be embraced by us. Thank you Preston for these messages. I really think they have been helping me to see the love of God and his personality more clearly. Starting to become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit moving in my life as well. I appreciate you man!
As you prayed about the Holy Spirit backing away from us in sadness as opposed to running away from us in anger, I felt like heard the Holy Spirit say, “I don’t want to back away from you.” How humbling, and how convicting. Holy Spirit, help me to be sensitive to You, and have the fullness of Your power to be obedient in giving the gifts You want me to give.
I repent now for quenching the Holy Spirit! Holy Spirit - Break my heart for what breaks yours. Let me be utterly disgusted by your sadness and may I be as sensitive to you as the level of sensitivity, which you are.
Wow. Mind blown. I’ve focused on being sensitive to the Holy Spirit…Lord, help me to be more aware of how Your Holy Spirit is sensitive. You are greatly grieved. By grace alone, do not depart from me!
For all the times I have grieved the holy spirit. Lord I ask for forgiveness, help me to be obedient to your leading. Thank you man of God for the word.

I’m really convinced about quenching the Holy Spirit Lord forgive me when I make you sad not giving all of me and not giving all the glory at times break this heart of mine and take out any bad roots that blocks or hides your Holy Sprit in Jesus name Amen

I could not be more proud of Pastor Preston in this sermon for bearing his burden with us so that we too may make the change to better our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit. When I tear up in the past I have felt ashamed for feeling so deeply, but now I know this is the Holy Spirit grieving in me. This was the most powerful work for me... they are all amazing but This One 👌🏻
