The moves will be imitated but the his character will forever known as the greatest gimmick/character of all time. Dude made kids believe he was really dead 😂😂
@@johnd3233 his outfits, are iconic too, why he had mannequins up their showing it thru the year, shoot I though American Badass with the motorcycle was great too
Man deserve all the respect and accolades.. He is truely corner stone of wwe.. I am 36 now.. i strated watching at the age of 6 when he debut.. What a journey its been.. Will miss you taker
@@stevendycus9559 None of them will ever be as great as the undertaker us not even Roman reigns, cause the undertaker is and forever will be the greatest of alltime!!
Going to miss him, Kane, HHH, Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, The Rock, and so many others that I and everyone else grew up watching them perform in the WWF/E ring back then in from our childhood all the way through our adulthood. Thank you, Taker.
His speech was phenomenal, but the fact that the crowd didn't let up! Like just flooded him with gratitude (well deserved) is one of the greatest send offs a legend could get!
I stopped watching WWE long ago, but always made sure to follow the undertaker no matter what. I go back to the days as a kid watching his debut and always wanting to be his character when we did crazy backyard wrestling stuff. Even though I stopped watching, I damn sure made it a priority to see his HOF speech. Thank you Taker!
Same here bro. I'm 38 now. Started watching when I was 7. We watched his debut now watching his retirement/HOF speech. I stopped following wwe since the beginning of PG Era except matches involved Triple H, HBK, Kane and undertaker.
Same! I was obsessed with WWE in middle school, but stopped watching it when I got into high school. But always made sure to check in with the Undertaker!
He talks everyone listens. The man has so much respect its unreal. The room is silent at times like they listen to every single word he says. He says something funny they laugh He says something about his life they clap and show respect. The man litraly is a god of the wresling sport. He is very clear in his speech he doesn't stutter and delivers himself so professionally its unbelievable. He would make a great replacement for vince leaving haha. God I miss him in the ring. He really is the best of them all
Yeah it should've been 30-0 you know undefeated. But he still got the bar set high I doubt anyone could even come close to his records in the streak as well as his career as a whole
@@haseen99 It should've been The Rock or Steve Austin in my opinion but it is what it is. It just sucks that he never got to avenge his loss to Brock Lesnar.
I started watching Taker when I was 6-7. I'm now 28. When Kane buried him in 2003, I thought we'd never see again. Kid me thought he truly died. Every scare scenes he did until his return at WM was epic, and when he returned at WM; it was like Christmas to me.
I love that his HOF outfit still matched Taker's theme while still looking glammed up. All black suit? Looking incredible. Thank you Taker. You deserve this recognition
The Phenom,The Deadman,The Lord of Darkness,The Consience of the WWE. This man took fans on a 30 year ride like no other. When his gimmick would get a little fade rather than try to ride on he'd completely redo and to a point reinvent himself. He's truly a one of kind, once in a lifetime and THE ABSOLUTE G.O.A.T! #thankyoutaker
When Taker started to do interviews/podcasts as Mark Calaway, it's not a wonder how this man became the constant backbone of the company whether he was performing or not. I had been to alot of shows with my Dad in the WWF era in Detroit (RIP JLA) including Mania 3 at the Silverdome (RIP) so when we finally got to see Takers debut in Detroit, he easily became both our fave wrestler. So while Hogan got the credit for bringing the company to the upper echelon level at WM3, Taker brought the integrity to the forefront and "put asses in the seats" consistently. Being with WWE as long as he did, without ever jumping ship to another promotion for more money, shows what kind of human being he is and he deserves all accolades given to him. Thank You Taker, for all the memories but especially the ones w/ my Dad and I watching you. RIP Dad
I remember being both scared and spellbound when I first saw the undertaker as a kid in the early nineties. He immediately became my favorite and still is. An icon that can never be replaced. Thank you for all the incredible times over the years, and Damn right "You deserve it!" #thankyoutaker
God bless you Mark. This business will NEVER be the same without you. I've followed your career since your humble beginnings as "Texas Red". You know your early sportatorium days. Then to see you blossom from there was just incredible. I knew you were going to make it BIG TIME...!!! There will NEVER EVER be another talent like you and what you could accomplish physically in the ring at your size. Much less the way you "re-invented" yourself time after time. You embody everything this business is and should be about. I thank you for ALL the memories. And i pray you still have a place on WWE TV somewhere. I still believe your an asset to the WWE in some capacity. I hope i am able too still see that down the road.
I believe they are doing that near the WWE wearhouse. That's what I've gathered from all the information. And also they do bring a lot of outfits and such on the road when they do large events.
Love you Undertaker... I used to watch WWF with my whole family cos we had only 1 TV at home back in the day and when UT came out my Grandma who is no longer with us said a ghost had come out.... I never cried so much watching wrestling when he put down his gear after Roman beat him. It was like my childhood had ended truly but today I am so happy to see Mark Callaway... Legend... You will REST IN PEACE.
I remember when the undertaker first came to the WWF was back in 1990 , that was his first debut, I have grown up watching the undertaker fight on TV, the undertaker has been my favorite wrestler, and I truly want to thank the undertaker for these wonderful moments and memories, thank you undertaker for everything you did for 30 years.
Out of all the wrestlers who have gone through those doors, entered into that ring, he is the one that deserves it the most. He’s done so much for the wrestling scene and if anyone asks 100 years from now, the 1st words will be Undertaker was King
My favorite wrestler of all time. Such a goat and such a genius in the ring. The amount of talent, hard work and dedication he put into everything he did will be remembered for years and years to come and is second to no one. I'm gonna miss seeing you tombstone and scare the absolute shit outta anyone you faced. So congratulations to the legend that exists as a man named Mark Callaway/ The Undertaker. Thank you for all your hard work and time you devoted to the business. Rest easy in your retirement and we hope to see you step in that ring sometime soon
This man has literally been around my whole life. So many memories. My mom In her strong Haitian accent saying “Undehtehkeh” loves this man. Thank you for the memories Taker 👌🏽👌🏽❤️
One word...Father Figure. Mark is the Father Figure of WWE/F. Everyone under the WWE roof look up to him because he's a genuinely kindhearted soul. And that is one of the reason why the WWE Universe including me loves and respect Mark so very much. An all around amazing performer inside and outside of the squared circle. Enuff said. Thank you thank you thank you Taker... Rest In Fame Sir...
I have watched wwe right from 1998, he is one of my favourites even had drawn a poster of him and hanged on my home wall. He was god to me in my child hood and teenage dsys
My sister Cindy and I have been wrestling fans since January of 1964. We watched the Hall of Fame ceremonies on RU-vid. We loved the speech that the Undertaker gave. I am now 67, and my sister Cindy is 65. We are still going strong and we will always be wrestling fans.
I was a young high schooler when I first heard of the Undertaker. It was in 1993. He was always one of the characters I liked best next to the Rock and Triple H . I see a genuinely good man and a great performer as well as wrestler. He will always be one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Thank you, Taker👏👏
The one thing I loved about his American badass gimmick was that he still kept his supernatural abilities and that kind of kept him as the phenom or the dead man. Truly captivated his loyalty to the position, to the role. Also truly cemented his entrance into the Hall of Fame. You cannot fathom the amount of people that change their gimmick that change their role and never was able to get back up while he was one of the few people that can change their gimmick and no matter how many times he changed his gimmick he was still amongst the best
Wow!! Watched him when I was a kid in the 90s.Got scared when he entered the ring and rolled his eyes lol 😂. Can't believe he's grown old but I'm also 34 years old. That means he wrestled for almost 30 years wow
3 Decades Of Intimidation,Destruction and Domination in His Iconic,Phenominal and Legendary Career. He Really Deserves This Great Respect and Honor to all Those Audiences Here.Long Live The Phenom,The Undertaker.
Will deserved undertaker thanks for everything Taker… Awesome to see that you got the recognition you deserve. Dead man will indeed live on forever… Thank you, Thank you Undertaker ….
My first ever phone was a flip Motorola. His picture was my wallpaper and would be for all my phones and laptops since. Gosh I'm glad to have seen this man wrestle in my lifetime.
Just an incredible story. I like most remember being young kid and watching him debut. I vividly remember being in awe as he walked top rope and rose from the dead.... So many great memories, now that I'm old battered grown man it's bittersweet cuz it's like part of my childhood is retiring too. Very emotional. Yet very thankful.
Thank you under taker you deserve it and I love watching you in the ring your an amazing superstar and I’m a huge fan and your a great legend and we will never forget you and we all respect you for everything
Im 32 n I've watch wrestling all my life. This man is a legend and he deserves all the recognition and love..he was my favorite no matter who else was the popular guy at the time...thanks taker u truly r a blessing
And it’s about time too. This was at least a decade overdue. The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, and Mick Foley made up a huge part of not just my own, but many of our childhoods growing up, and Undertaker most of all. Before my relationship with my older brother went to shit, Watching Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw every week as kids growing up in the early ‘00s, was the main way we bonded with each other. The Undertaker wasn’t just a wrestler, he was an inspiration and hero to generations of lonely kids who grew up watching him ChokeSlam and Last Ride all the biggest and baddest wrestlers in the ring. He’s a National Treasure. Thank you for making our childhood awesome Undertaker. We love you. ❤️
It's not overdue cuz he was still actively wrestling, Hall of fame is for retired Icons. Same reason alot haven't been put in. Though I can agree with your sentiment. He had a place in the hall of fame 5 years into his career.
@@TheAutisticBrony Yeah they were, except ric flair who got inducted and had one final fight that same night, several superstars like hulk hogan and Bret hart came back for a match or short period of time after their inductions but had technically retired.
Loved the big pop that he got when he mentioned the "American Badass" gimmick. Definitely one of his most popular personas and the one I grew up with actually (started watching WWF/E around 2000 though I wasn't supposed to lol)
I grew watching him I am 30 now and he is the true G.O.A.T he absolutely deserves it there will never be another wrestler like him again thank you taker for all the memories
I count it a blessing to have been able to watch the undertaker wrestle he is my favorite ever since i was a child he will always be the greatest and the respect that he has from the wwe universe is amazing #thankyoutaker
