Interesting idea but I don't think Sans needed to take a hit, it would have been better if Undyne had taken the attack. The damage Undyne takes is a bit exaggerated since Frisk only has 9999 at Lv 19 and 20. And it was easy for Undyne to be the tank since she can withstand a lot of hits from Frisk Lv 11 But other than that, good fangame
I kinda feel this is like a precursor to dusttale in a way, where sans attempts to work with other people before he fully snaps and tries to gather exp instead of relying on others
Exactly my thought, it makes sense, the only continuity error here is the player being at 11 LV instead of 8 or 9 and the weapon being the one of the knives in a geno run (but that semantics).
@@Magma-Idiot-2001 Normal people can only gain 12 LV before Undyne on genocide, by farming Looks, Giftrots, Aarons with Woshuas. But some "individuals" gain 13 LV by farming... Glyde(In Pacifist you need 3-10 minutes to encounter him)
6:25 missed opportunity to have Undyne jump in front of Sans, take the hit, and then transform into her undying form. It would have been a great parallel to you trying to kill monster kid on the bridge, except you’re trying to kill Sans this time.
@@Menace6666 that not true...even level 2 have KR...it small but exist...only level 1 can't have KR because you know... doesn't do anything yet to get the KARMA
I feel like it would only make sense that sans would inevitably have an impulse to attack you and go back on his promise sooner, in some of the neutral endings, you can tell he really, really, **REALLY** wants to.

If you know anything about sans, you should know damn well that he would not do this. Especially since he doesn't remember resets, but we're gonna ignore that part for the sake of edge and angst
@@mchlkpng If he said it's a precursor to Dusttale then it's the story where Sans suddenly receives determination and that also explains why he manages to survive the attack, this isn't Sans remember reset one, it's Sans with determination
Plot twist: Undyne and Sans weren't done yet and just taking their breath to preparing for phase 4 honestly if they did ended up defeating the human it would have been a well-earned victory imo
Now I want to see more battle versions of this duo, it's literally the leader of the Royal Guard and the Royal Judge who guards the Royal Hall fighting together. Sans and Undyne are very strong, imagine them fighting together in a hard mode battle.
This seems like one of the better sans fangames out there. The attack patterns seem hard, but fair, and Sans acts like he would (if he remembered the player's genocides)
Really cool concept, but I think overall,between the “edgy” sprites, weird looking dialogue box sprites, and not the best writing for dialogue, it has some pretty big flaws.
The game is cool. Only wish it was made in a better engine. I understand than the creator probably created their own engine just for that second phase, and tbf it is really good.
No karma strength is found through your sins and horrible actions like for example if you don't do a genocide but you do kill......it won't be that strong@@supersacredsinyt8031

wow, sans is so smart! attacking the child after it made ruins out of Ruins and changed snowdin to snow. he wanted to see his brother killer real bad. (he says at the start that he knows how fight with undying looks like, so he def knows kid is doing genocide)

any clue on how to change the keybind like really i hate arrow key in every fan game so i usually use a script to turn it to ZQSD but here for some unknown reason we cant so im stuck
I'm not really a fan of how sans, at 1 DEF, tanks a really powerful hit at the start of the video... Then survives while bleeding out over the next two phases, can still use attacks and even manages to fall asleep three times over multiple turns when he should have died from his HP hitting 0. Undyne finds sans bleeding out and does the most ooc dialogue ever, then starts fighting the player without healing him or using that attack that hit sans as a means to transform into undying... The animations and stuff are cool, the fights and attacks themselves are cool... But the story writing is terrible...
Besides It doesn't say that sans took any DT serum. It would make so much more Sense if undyne jumped in front of him to save his life instead of what happened in this one.
