True, and it's also why dream never questioned this action. Because he knew that Chara was getting covered in negativity and that the only way to stop it is with positivity. The only person who could generate enough in Chara to do that is Asriel, who just so happens to be flowey at this time. If he were in Sans's position, he would've strengthened Flowey as much as he could because he'd know that flowey would be their only shot at victory (besides himself if he were actually there but you know what I mean). The reason why the others don't see it that way and think it is a waste is because during the fight between Sans and Flowey and Chara, they could barely scratch a far weaker version of Chara even with Flowey's help. And so they came to the conclusion that even if he transformed it, it wouldn't help much, and it'd have just been better for him and Frisk to stay out of the fight. While either Gaster or Sans used the souls to fight Chara. Of course, both of them being there is what's giving them a shot at victory now. So they were short sighted there.

i just realized season 2 frisk is gonna explain things with asriel (and that frisk wanting to reset) oh no i can tell dust sans and error and classic sans not liking this error because frisk did it on purpose unlocking hardmode even tho its glitchy and incomplete dust sans because frisk has done everything and the promise was a lie, (also fanon dust has this pacifist ending in the fan game so now it feels like even if they do change it's just another curiosity thing they would do) horror sans wondering if he counted as one of the things frisk has done everything because horror sans is based on the neutral run where you kill all but spare the main cast. classic well we already know since glitchtale showed that.especially the reset thing Dream and Swap Flabbergasted ink just ink of course Nightmare just enjoying it
epic video cant wait to see the finally agasint full HATE chara and of course the ending where frisk breaks the reset the button which i imagine would make most of the sans happy but inrage Error cause he knows that makes things Glitch and break which is correct. as frisk explained later in season 2 by doing so they broke the timeline in a way where its just on the verge of collapse so any reset or time pookery would make the whole thing fall hence why they had to replace themselves with chara and be deleted.
If im being honest one way to explain why glitchtale sans didnt give gaster or himself the soul is because that would be unwoun territory right now and with their world progressively glitching more and more it aint the time for stuff that aint known aka him or gaster with the souls

@2:50 no, then it would lead to more glitches flowey needs to have them. also we have a "plan b" if he absorbs them. with gaster or sans [their is no plan b] only plan a and if it fails then we have nothing to fall back on, its either you win or you die. but with flowey getting them we have plan b ASRIEL DREEMURR and a bond with chara. a bond gaster and sans DO NOT HAVE. its shocking how brash [and arrogant] your sanses are compared to glitchtale and that's SAYING something, they always want to fight first and talk 2nd.
besides this is a world ending threat you want no NEED all hands on deck and for them to be as strong as possible. having flowey be a weak link is a dumb decision that would bite all of monster kind in the butt.
also keep in mind omega flowey is arguably stronger then us [the player] since they overwrite our saves and can even destroy them. sans is like bottom teir when it comes to fighting. its why he always fights as a last option right as its too late to save anybody. He is nowhere NEAR on par with omega flowey, even gaster is above him and gaster is a scientist he's not meant to be at the frontlines.
@4:45 they aren't teleporting humans can't do that, what we can do is use glitches in the system/game to our advantage. tldr they are glitching the timeline to put them at the best point of attack. frisk does something similar in their fight with pink soul after paps shows up they glitch the game and go back to full hp. i'll point it out when i get to it.
@@imakegachaclubvideos6323 not really omega flowey there was supposed to be lvl 19 flowey since flowey did his own genocide route before frisk arrived. he gaved up against sans camilla thought it would be a GREAT idea to make him omega flowey looking for lvl 19 flowey but in reality that is dumb and it will cause a large confusion and looked like sans> omega flowey
