sans attacks you as soon as you leave the ruins as toriel never tells him about you (remember "youd be dead where you stand"). Mettaton stays in his box form and you have to find some other way (possibly using magic?) to kill him, as he cant be harmed by physical means. You don't fight papyrus until the end where he is pissed that you killed everyone he loved including sans, then he attacks you with full force, much harder then sans. after you kill papyrus, asgore actually does his job and absorbs the 6 human souls and is joined by flowey who helps out. If you manage to kill him as well you are then confronted by the creme dela creme, gaster, who uses everything he has against you, including moving the game window, attacking you in the menu, destroying your fight button, etc. top it off with the fact that all of his attacks take down your maximum HP a little bit, and the fact that he also has Karmic Retribution and disables invincibility frames, but does 5 damage per tick instead of one like sans, and you've got yourself a fight.

Sounds like the 8th circle of hell where Satan resides...

It would leave a bad impression if he completely threw his specifically-placed, disturbing Gaster secrets in Undertale out of the window for Deltarune and made him a joke character. Plus, Gaster has an even larger presence in Deltarune than in Undertale anyway, and we're only two chapters in.

I know my Latin, so I know what the phrase means. You also just need to look it up on Google to learn what it translates to: "If you want peace, prepare for war". By no means does it mean "prepare war, get peace".

It's actually fairly easy to understand that particular phrase if you know a bit of Roman history and general knowledge about the English language. No idea where they got that translation from.
