One actually cool fact: VHS Sans in phase 2 doesn’t actually get a bone knife, he actually grabs the attack sprite when you use the fight button on him and then uses it as a weapon.
I recognize this U.I., the creator of this game has already had some practice with making a fight for dustdustdust and error 404, both extremely difficult, this really is Merg's final showdown and his last corridor.

23:40 Yeah, in fangames DEBUG usually always means Game Over is entirely disabled (usually this is handled by forcing the HP to always be maxed out), thus you are 100% invincible. As for the final question: Phase 3 is PAINFUL (requires a perfect run), so whatever you do DO experience that phase in DEBUG once you fail the phase.

Didn't except Merg to play a BossHim fan-game, would love to see him try DustDustDust, or any other of his fan-games. Also to answer the question at the end: It is mostly ideal to play on easy mode, even BossHim himself plays most of his fan-games on easy modes (and somehow completes them). It would take an immense amount of time to do it, in 1 go. My thoughts on it? Switch between difficulties if you die 6-9 times, DEBUG Mode is almost just watching it like a video, although use it if you want to learn pattern of attacks (this is recommended for his other fan-games as well)

I need -healing- filling, so here's update to my Infernum playthrough for those who are interested. The mechs are down, and so are bossess in between them, and events too. Plantera would require a lot of arena building, and Calclone is a bit, let's say, *intense.* So it's about time I dip into my builder side and start beautifying the world. Especially so given the fact that no infections can spread anymore. The resources are *very* plentiful, and ideas are few already. The only problem is balancing NPC happiness, but I'll figure it out (I hope) I think I said the same thing last fangame, but god, that's so much edge it gives a PS¹ Bloodbourne a run (reference to phase 2???)

This AU is my favorite because of the one who created it (Iamaboss0) was really active with their comment section, challenged by YT violations and I think his old account was hacked, don't quote me on that, but furthermore he also watched fan-animations and corrects them (They overpowered this guy which seems insane). Also it gives me the chills listening to the music and specifically phase 2.

To clarify the lore for people who think VHS is just another edgy sans - VHS isn't just a generic "scary sans", he has lore behind why he looks that way. The player hacked the game after doing a Genocide run to try to escape the consequences of their actions, messing things up (including him) in the process. VHS is trying to punish them for that, and to stop them from messing up the Underground even further.
And the creator has specifically said that he's not powerful, either - He instead just bends the rules to his advantage, just like actual Sans, and still has Sans's personality despite what he looks like. It's not just "haha i'm scary now", he still has his actual personality, and just wants to return to his normal life again.

Bcls he first was in video about hacker sans of hacker ending I had not thought that this will ever be a game so cool that u can finaly officially fight him I first thought this will not be vhs and some kids made scam vhs sans battle that did not suppose to be that fight
you surely did a bad job in play testing, some of the attacks are almost unreactable and is impossible to dodge without memorizing. Even if you do memorize them, some of them are even random, which makes them even more unpredictable. This doesn't even look possible.
