So, in RPGs I almost always name myself the canon character name, rather than my own or a custom one. So when I got Undertale, I looked up the canon name for the MC. I was told it was Frisk. I thought the game was just naturally this hard because I was shit at bullet hells. Then I got to the end, and, well... yeah.
I feel so immensely terrified by a true reset. It scares me at a core level, because I recognize these are fictional characters, but the prospect of ripping them from their happy lives to return to a horrifying alternate timeline. It almost feels too real. It's as if these are the lives of real people I'm toying with, and not just a game. Toby Fox created something truly unique - Undertale almost feels like it has a mind of its own, it's such a self-aware game I almost can't even call it a "game".
if it didn't put you in hard mode when you named yourself frisk asriel would be like " I was always a crybaby huh frisk? wait your now frisk? what's your name than? frisk? that's a nice name ! "
XD but if there was a full hard mode he would probably say " I was always a crybaby huh frisk? wait your not frisk are you? wait your are frisk? oh you must be a different frisk "
they really thought about everything in this game lol, its genius. anyone else noticed if you beat the game on pacifist mode and go all the way back to toriel's house and examine the pie leftovers it says 'it has dog prints all over it'. yes they even thought of programming that 1 extra line into the game that makes the link to this dog eating the pie :P
+Popcioslav - ehh... it's actually harder both PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY for me. I'm just gonna do pacifist runs, capiche? I don't like getting dunked on or having bad times.
Good advice, you can't fail Toriel's fight if you just stand still the whole time. She won't let you get under 1hp. All her attack from there on will be in the sides on purpose to avoid killing you.
I have a theory that Frisk actually went on a genocide run, or a neutral run. Since the ending of hard mode, Flowey says "Shouldn't she be dead by now!?" And even Toby asks Toriel why isn't she dying, even in PACIFIST. Meaning that Frisk killed Toriel. However this is hard mode so yeah. It could be possible that hard mode is basically the genocide route, because it's harder.
Yes if you name your character frisk, it will switch to hard mode and no wonder some gamers were horrible at the game..... if you didn't catch what I meant, I ment they named themselves frisk.
You should look into a better microphone, or get it away from your mouth. Your P's are blowing out my ears. A pop-filter might help too, headset or condenser mic?
i know this was like ages ago you did this but you can go down on your health to one so toriel does not hit you then and just keep sparing her all the way through the fight.
+alasanof the same dialog as allways , but when the little dog shows up she just stands again and the dogs ask something like "wheren't you dying a moment ago?" and she say something like "what's the point of it now , i should bake a pie instead" and goes off
Genocide- kill everyone, then play the game again. Pacifist- spare everyone and get the true ending Asriel- your characters friend who got turned into a flower.
I got that the flowey thing and I just beated well I did the true reset because there was nothing to do so I just beated it today well its not today if you reading this on a other day
