Merg is often sorry about killing, but here he's just unconditionally glad. The game did a good job at making you feel relieved when you still just eradicated the most of monsterkind for the final time. Seriously, 7 videos. Hey merg have you ever heard of the deltarune mod RIBBIT? It's super high effort and has an all original story with new enemies, bosses, and SO much costum content. On top of that the whole thing is already finished, so no waiting for the rest to never release! I would absolutely love to see you play it because shockingly few undertale/deltarune fans have heard of it.

7 videos. It took 7 videos of the same game to beat it. And it finally released the rage.

For anyone else grinding this fan game for the attack at 1:17 there's a glitch spot roughly in the top right where if you stay still the hitbox of the non blue bone is bugged so you wont take any damage. Have about 2 hrs sunk into phase 3 and the farthest ive gotten is just after the followers. Wish me luck. Also REALLY wish you didn't have to watch the intro cutscene each time. Edit: Sans down :) honestly just came down to getting a run with good rng for the folder not spitting papers at you and the ghost faces in the follower attack not spawning near you. Wouldn't be surprised if 2 hrs of my gameplay was just watching that unskippable intro dialogue, very annoying lol. Edit: Asgore is not nearly as bad for the final attack just memorize where you need to go to avoid the vines and the rest you can mostly tank. Every another attack isn't that bad.

He's finally done it, he's finally beat it, no longer being completely suffering the game. even completely first try on asgore / flowey in one video. The true meaning of not giving up, is a complete cherryness behavior of undertale god. It fills you with determination. We reached to the end, we could get a... you've guessed it... *_NO-HIT LAST BREATH_*

What if this had a sequel where all the bosses know all the genocide runs and they fight you all out one by one, and they jump you at the end along with asriel, where you have no items, no weapon or armor, you're level 1, and to win, you have to find an item to help you escape from the hole Frisk fell through and you have to do a genocide run on the surface?

No matter how frustrating the fan game is, the music is always amazing

Looking back at the years and years of undertale content, I now fret the day that we won’t see anymore undertale from merg. Hell it could be this very last video. Scary.

I actually have to leave another comment here, but the final 7 minutes and especially the final afterthoughts of this video were really raw and not to mention, very true. The main focal point of the fangame was the Sans fight, and with phase 2 being as hard as it is, anything after that just feels like it's dragging on. The Asgore and Flowey fight is the main offender of this, if anything it should have just been a 5 turn fight where you struggle and nothing happens on turn 1 and 3, you get your items and fight buttons back on turn 2 and 4, and then turn 5 you fight and then boom! The end. Roll the final cutscene and credits and then we're good! But yeah, overall this was a cool fangame and I had a blast watching you play it (salt and all included), and congrats on finally finishing it! :D (Thank you for listening to my ted talk too btw)

there's a really good reason why asgore and mettaton neo didn't have big crazy fights during the genocide run in the main game. I think this fangame perfectly illustrates it. you may deserve punishment for decimating an entire civilization just for fun, but it should never come at the cost of the gameplay experience. still a quality fangame, though.

I gotta say this fangame looks like it's among the most difficult ones. I've beaten bad time trio extreme mode, shanghaivania and even the super cool Distrust 2 the cooler edition but I wouldn't even dare to try this one. The fact that you have super long phases with only a few checkpoints would make me go absolutely apeshit with anger. Good job in completing it!

That last attack from asgore and flowey is just too much, there are VERY little signs that an attack is coming at any moment.

This is what happens with any fangame community, they just keep making the games harder and harder and now here we are, so much effort being put into frankly just garbage games
