My dumbass is imagining Chara's voice having a bit of a teasing tone when they say "partner" there. Like they're almost screwing with Frisk/the player by saying all that, knowing that they're ultimately the one in control and (depending on if you reached MTT Resort or have already done the genocide route atleast once) that there's no going back for you. After all, even if you go for the pacifist route, everyone will still die, because you decided to get a little bit too curious as to what would happen if Frisk killed everybody. Chara is still a demon, don't get me wrong. But they're a demon due to the player's actions feeding not only Frisk's LV, but also Chara's. *And have you ever considered where all the LV from a playthrough goes when you reset for a new one?*
