It's a bit of a challenge determining which instruments were used for this song specifically. I've seen many FLP recreators getting confused on a specific part of this song and it's great to have an FLP recreation this accurate.

@@TheAdvertisement Ah, well I do wanna be specific with the instruments used because it's convenient for people who'd like to make a song using the instruments used in this song. Nini actually just named the "Trumpets For All Time" as "trumpets" only in the flp recreation, though I suppose this was done to make the naming system a bit easier when recreating.

Y'know, I notice there's really no more than 8 channels playing at a time (more or less), so it seems like Toby was trying to limit himself to SNES limitations with this composition. He even applied a gaussian filter to the samples, which he's done for most of the snes samples in Undertale, but notably didn't in Spamton's theme and first battle theme, which I suppose he wanted to sound more low quality, maybe for a more "computer-y" effect?

I feel bad that I don't have enough IQ and attention span to read this comment. But yeah, the number of instruments in most Toby Fox' songs are like "quality over quantity". Instead of adding and stacking instruments over each other to the song, creating unnecessary complexity with the song, making it hard to listen to, he limits himself to fewer instruments to work with in order to avoid this issue. It might simply be just his style of making music; it's efficient and has excellent execution in practice, and has room for banger remixes that the community can make, such as Camellia's Rude Buster remix. I suppose he only went all out on [BIG SHOT] as it fits the personality of Spamton, andddd we all know we're gonna love this character so he just wanted to go all out on a secret boss theme, similar to THE WORLD REVOLVING. The mixing in his songs is also God-like, you could only hope to get at least half on his level. Exaggerating it or not, he's genuinely an amazing composer. The computer-y effect for Spamton's song might be used to fit his style more as he seems to be a little broken, just like his current situation as he's living in a garbage bin. It's all in the plugins he used.

I'm not rlly interested in making a deconstruction video of this oscilloscope view, i.e. a 30 minute long video of all the instruments playing one at a time with their oscilloscope views, as this video for me is enough. The FLP and sf2's used are publicly available anyway, so other people can do that.
