Ik how it is in Undertale Yellow but I like to change some things in my AU. For example, in my AU I want that Starlo gave Clover a real gun *only* for the duel and then took it away either way- Leaving Clover with a toy gun again. (But then child Sans appeared out of nowhere - from a tree - and gave him a gun without a question, just like that 👍✨🙃) I'm kinda bored ik. But I like changing the lore of everything bc of some reason-

@@I_Nathan_I as a trans person myself, it is usually VERRRY iffy when people take a character that canonically used they/them pronouns and remakes them to have a binary gender and pronouns. its kinda like that thing where people used to refer to one of two gay dads as the "mom". it's just another thing of representation erasure that is very often done in poor taste and then spread to children who dont know any better and parrot it back. it's not some egregious mistake, you just seem like you didnt know, but it certainly leaves a bad taste in my mouth. sorry for the word vomit lol, but cisheteronormative ideals sorta overwhelm this fandom, especially on the gacha side, and it always makes me sad.

Clover doesn’t use they/them, nor does frisk chara or any other fallen human. They are only referred to as they/them because the whole point of Frisk’s character is that frisk represents the player. That way the player can make frisk anything they want. The same is true for clover. And it’s pretty obvious, that with male clothing, most see clover as a guy.
