@@worldofoblivion977 Very late to this comment. But yes! I've played undertale and actually fact checked stuff when making the video. I feel like some people don't play the game. But I keep on both sides for Chara and Frisk. To not paint them both as villains or bad guys. Because mainly, WE are the bad guys. Also fun fact I think I discovered. Which isn't probably big. But apparently sans, when the reset happens, goes back 8 or something days before the human falls/we take control of the game. Which is in the dialog when we hid behind the lamp (Which I might be wrong, so poeple please see if I'm right).

@@chronred8190 Power (through killing) for more destruction can't be a greater purpose. If someone thought so, they're fucked up from the beginning. And why would Chara decide to kill for power? Don't tell me about guidance. We didn't tell Chara to do this. Chara decided it himself after seeing our actions. Chara should have his own opinion (and he always does). Chara's head is not empty. So, he's responsible for his choices. And no, Chara doesn't think it was a right thing to do. 1. Chara talks about sins from time to time. 2. Chara talks about consequences. 3. Chara call himself a demon (not a thing you would do if you think you're doing the right thing) He chooses to be a killer as well. Chara does has his own mind and head, right? I don't think he's so mindless. "Guidance" card is not a free pass to do a bad things just because someone else does it. Ironically, Chara's sprite at the end of the genocide path is called "truechara". You're on the path of genocide giving more and more free rein to the dark side of Chara's personality, and it begins to prevail more and more, until in the end it leads to bad consequences. On the path of genocide, he has a plan, he sees his purpose, and he wants to do what he could not do in the past (while using monsters as a source of power). It is just a little easier for Chara do bad things, but he give an account of his actions and just take advantage of the situation. >“Why was I brought back to life? You. With your guidance. I realized the purpose of my reincarnation.” It just means that our actions inspired Chara. After all, if you believe in the theory of Narrachara, then only on the path of genocide does Chara call you a partner, only on the path of genocide does he reveal his presence and only on the path of genocide does he reveal a lot of personal information. Inspiration can be the same kind of guidance, because Chra just watched what we were doing, and he independently came to the conclusion that he wanted this power. We didn't tell him ANYTHING so that Chara would be under our guidance as some kind of student. We were just doing our thing and Chara after watching us decided he wanted to do it too - we didn't say he should do it and didn't say why he should do it (for power or for some other thing). He came to all his conclusions on his own just by watching us, and thus the main reason why he participates is because he decided that this is a worthwhile thing. And you helped him come to that conclusion. It's the same as "inspired". So he considers you a partner and considers you worthy to know about him personally and to know his personal information. Why he doesn't do it on other paths? He simply rejects all other offers of guidance (Papyrus) and words about mercy. And again, when you killed every monster in the Snowdin (16 monsters), but did not kill Snowdrake as Chara told you (although he is as mandatory for genocide as Gyftrot is mandatory - he is not needed, you have already killed 16 monsters, and Snowdrake is among these ordinary monsters in the counter), Chara refuses to continue with words "The comedian got away. Failure". Although you have as much power as you would have had with Snowdrake's death. You will not berate someone's actions if you consider every their actions as something you should follow to. . Yes, without us, this idea wouldn't come to Chara. But it doesn't mean that you can somehow insult Chara's trust. I don't think that Chara is trusting anyone at this point. But you're useful partner. And you helped Chara to realize some things and fullfil them. For which he's grateful.

An example of sentimental is an attachment to your childhood house.* Thus, Chara talks about how we are attached to this world, and our feeling of sentimentality is responsible for this. Because of this feeling, we don't want to destroy the world once and for all, we want to go back to it (unlike Chara - "We are not the same, are we?"), and that's why Chara says ONLY when you refuse to erase the world that the feeling that prompted us to refuse is exactly what he was talking about. But this feeling is perverted, because despite this feeling, the Player continues to kill in this world, knowing perfectly well the outcome of this ending - the destruction of the world. But at the same time, we don't want this destruction of the world, and therefore we are bringing the world back. We are wracked with a perverted sentimentality. Perverted sentimentality, because of which we kill again and again in the same world, the same scenario, although we could have moved on a long time ago (Chara on the first genocide path: "Let us erase this pointless world and move on to the next"). Chara also says how he cannot understand these 'feelings' anymore. Considering that he said about a "feeling" in our soul, and not "feelings", here he talks about the fact that he now cannot feel the same warm feelings as a Player in general. Because he's soulless. **Conclusion:** It doesn't relate to your point at all. It just means that Chara wouldn't start a genocide route when it will not provide anything useful. And should I remind you that Chara destroyed the world right after that? And killed thousands of monsters by this. Chara's words about a different path just a trick for a soulless pacifist (with no good end for anyone), that's all.

@@justauser6078 they talk with you in first person however in the fight against robot mew-mew, and help you save asriel dreemurr; and regardless of the route Chara shows you memories from their past. not only that on the pacifist route Chara helps you save Asriel. and on the other way - if the narrachara theory is correct (which i am pretty sure it's confirmed at this point), then that also means that on the pacifist route they are more supportive and hopeful; they even make stupid puns and funny comments. also didn't Chara want to save monsters...? and with the right thing to do, i don't mean it as morally right; i mean it as the correct thing for the situation; that they thought that this is what was supposed to happen

"They did it first" doesn't mean that nobody else is the villain. * Together, we eradicated the enemy and became strong. * Right. You're a great partner. We'll be together forever, won't be? *Destroyed the world* Chara is a willing partner of the villain. So, he's also the villain.

@@justauser6078 Undertale and deltarune also are games all about how your action have consequences and there's no one to blame for the suffering of the characters other than yourself, the player

Chara is our partner and a willing participant Frisk can resist but doesn't do it (he can refuse to hit Undyne for real in her house. Even if you click FIGHT button, the damage still will be 1) The Player is not some scapegoat for every character.

Frisk isnt a character literally they have no character outside of being played by the player they do not have a personality because they dont exist as a character they are just a vessel for the player to control Frisk IS the player Literally they r not a character outside of player every decision they make is because of the player Even pacifist and shit Every ending is because of the player alot of people assume Genocide = player Pacifist = frisk Like no yall its all player

@@lucidifying this is a year ago omg. Also that's literally what I said, but tbh you name frisk. So technically speaking it isn't frisk, it's the player because frisk doesn't exist.

I'll also like to add the fact that the moment "frisk" fell they basically stop being frisk. Because now they're just a vessel who doesn't know what's happening. The player is the one controlling them, therefore the player is the core reason for neutral, pacifist, and genocide. I'm pretty sure that's the exact premise of deltarune, the only difference is that kris actually have the will power to refuse the player. Frisk doesn't.

@@thana_xx480 we dont name frisk we name the first fallen human (chara). thats why in the true pacifist ending asriel confuses us with chara until frisk tells him their actual name
