I like the concept of Classic being able to use the power of any trait, since I personally believe that white stands for balance of all traits, but I think that it would make more sense to explain it with the fact that, because he's from the "Original Universe" he is more powerful than any AU. Also, I know that this is YOUR AU, but I have an interesting explanation of Sans's powers and backstory that comes with a giant piece of lore in my AU, which I call Kattitale, because of Katti, who is a Neko. Nekos are scientifically engineered human - monster hybrids, fused together with cat DNA. They have many variations, and can have up to three different traits. They also are the only race that can have "secondary traits", which are dependent on the existence of another trait in the SOUL. Kattitale is focused on the events following the Pacifist route, where Frisk decides to stay with Toriel. They decide not to RESET, and monsters build a village in the forest surrounding Mt. Ebbot. Soon, however, monsters begin disappearing into the forest. Eventually, we find out about the ARM, a group of humans who are capturing monsters and imprisoning them. Eventually, in an epic finale, Asgore, Sans, a resurrected Asriel, Frisk, and Undyne battle the full force of the ARM. However, just as it seems all hope is lost for the monsters, a mysterious stranger uses a powerful shield in the shape of a cat bell to stop the battle. They join the monsters' team and turn the tides in their favor. In the end, the ARM is defeated. Many are injured, but no one is dead. Humans and monsters eventually come to a peace agreement, the captured monsters are released, and the stranger reveals their identity and motivations. Her name is Kate, and she came on command of the Mao City Council. As the strongest available warrior of the Neko civilization, she had to be the one to stop that battle. If she had not, monsters would have been trapped again, or worse. ... Wait, did I just put my entire season 1 of the series I'm planning into somebody else's COMMENT SECTION!? Oh well, at least I didn't get too far into season 2! I do realize that I could just delete it, but I am WAY too lazy for that. Anyway, if you read this far, congratulations! The problem is the AU isn’t labeled so their interpretation is correct unless specifically mentioned calling something Undertale means it’s classic sans and classic Undertale you can’t just say oh it’s my au but it goes by the same name and has all the same characters with no alteration outside Sanses personality
I'm pretty sure the murder time trio could destroy au's only on the most basic level (which is removing all life from the au) nightmare could possibly destroy au's in how they are (which more or less means by removing positivity from au's he destroys the au's in question in a metaphorical way because they are no longer how they once were to the point where they are so different they only still share the same universe name in comparison to how they are vs how they were) but error is capable of destroying au's in multiple ways 1 he could just destroy the au how it is 2 he could destroy all the timelines of the au or 3 he could destroy all life in the au (but unlike the murder time trio error would take the soul of whoever controls the timelines of that au and put it in his anti void which means it's certain that the au is unable to be restored without visiting the anti void which is next to impossible for most people in the multiverse)
finally someone understands this! Personally , I think that every au isn't Canon BUT that they all crumble at classic sanses magic as he is basically the SOLE route of themselves (get it?i made a pun)

Sans even cannon and especially cannon gets beat by most AUs really the way the Undertale verse pays homage to him being the original is if he dies then every au and even the outcodes die too Fgod will take it one step further and say Classic death means everyone dies, the original of an AU meaning the first AU so like the original Underswap dying means that no more of that AU can be created and sometimes it leads to the total destruction of that AU set the way Undertale does it’s Fannon verse is classics are the source but others can surpass the source that doesn’t mean they are separated if classic dies they all die but they don’t do Cannon means it’s more correct as that limits creativity and that goes against the very idea of AUs existing since most of them are What ifs of the original Undertale
