It's so nice to see a game acknowledge Paps' genuine strength, skill, and strategy.

Merg: Starts an intense fan-game about the Undertale Genocide Route. Also Merg: *CAN I FRISK DANCE?!*

To be honest, i like this fangame a lot because the creator understands that sans only knows a quarter of the fourth wall, and can't randomly remember everything. but flowey on the other hand. He has determination, he breaks the fourth wall, he's one of the most reoccuring characters, he warns everyone. And sans just feels like he knows what flowey was talking about.

The fact that he just happened to get the rare Gaster door is insane.

This somewhat felt like that Dorkly Final Fantasy skit where the heroes are like: why do we take turns instead of rushing the boss as a group? In this case, you have a gauntlet to go through on Papyrus and Undyne, and you are weaker when you reach Sans in terms of LV and HP compared to a normal genocide run.

Undyne: shooting a crap ton of spears in different directions Merg: loving the game while casually dodging all of them

Merg: "Undyne you are weak". Ten seconds later Undyne: "say what?"

Ah,the good ol' Undertale fangames. Felt like a century.

Fun fact: according to undyne, papyrus is actually pretty strong, he just has too much pity of the human to actually hurt or kill him.

Fun (unrelated) fact: The reason why asgore destroys the mercy button (in the original game) is because he believes he doesn't deserve mercy after everything he has done

I like how they didn't make it so that Sans see the previous resets but they made it so Flowey is the only monster to see the resets and made Sans only see glimpse of the resets

Undyne calls herself a hero, and she is a hero, especially when she took a hit to save monster kid, that was heroic, the real true hero

You know it's a hard fangame when you die to the first fight several times

I like how all these fangames think that someone would actually play genocide over 10 times. Imagine how tiring all those Sans fights would get.

Something I've noticed, Flowey must have warned the monsters to not give you a turn, because both papyrus and Undyne don't stop attacking until they're completely exhausted, because they now know they'll get killed with one blow each.

I’m not gonna lie, this fan game feels like JUST another fan game more than any other fan game that has ever fan game’d.

That Merg name Reference is slept on as hell, that caught me off guard because he literally did his intro, and then when entering his name, the exact same lines came up IN-GAME. You know you've made an impact when you start seeing references to yourself in the games you play because you're known for playing these fangames, and it all comes full circle. Giving these Fangames the attention they deserve, this reference is well-deserved.

Know this came out half a year ago but I still admire the video. Respect for this is probably one of the hardest fangames out there. The first two battles are 2-3 minutes of intense and fast gameplay where you only get to be hit 5-6 times I think before you die. The last battle is intense and fast paced too but is also a fanon sans fight so of course it's OP as heck. I think the hardest fangame I was able to beat was Devilovania and even that was close and took lots of practice. Appreciate all you do and your DETERMINATION

This looks sooooooo smooth, the movements and sprites just pop like a chainsaw through butter

It feels odd that Undyne has one large attack and dies in one hit, especially in what's supposed to be a greater form than her canon Genocide form which is a true battle. I do like that Sans appears to have been accepted into the royal guard, and he's actually attacking you in your menus (in the games, he just has bones that nick you if you're dumb) and force you to act fast.

It's so amazing two things: 1. Merg finally posted a video and that's always great. 2. He conveniently posted a Undertale video, after Toby Fox makes the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, that Deltarune it's going release *TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

After seeing this around for awhile I finally had the spare time to watch chapter 1 and I was not disappointed

Oh thank god, i was getting scared since you haven't been posting undertale in a month. i saw this fangame in my recommended a lot of times, but i didn't want to watch it since i knew you were going to play it, it just seems like a fangame you would play, Keep up the good work... you always make my day with your videos (especially undertale videos)

The visuals, the gameplay, the difficulty, the pacing, the music, even the dialogue is all really high quality - and of course, always good commentary by you, Merg. Interested to see if this dev team ever makes anything else (also words cannot state how excited i am for deltarune tomorrow - feel free to play at your own leisure though merg!)

I really wish that the mod makers hadn’t crowded the areas with their OCs and had instead made some sort of secret area with them all. Don’t get me wrong, the mod is fantastic, it’s just strange to see the town even more populated than a normal genocide run, and with characters we don’t even know. Sort of kills immersion…?

The good old Undertale is coming in. Congrats Undertale with 6th anniversary (i'm kinda late i think), and of course i'm excited about Deltarune chapter 2. Big respect to the creators of the fangame.
