@@claustr0tv9 well, that could be the case. frisk and asriel's ages are never specified, however, we can guess that because of the pictures of asriel and chara, asriel either hadn't aged much between chara's arrival in the underground and his death, or he takes a younger form for some reason before and after he fights you.

I don’t know if that was intentional, but the double meaning of “playing for eternity” to describe both what Asriel hopes will happen, but also the stakes, in the sense of “playing for keeps” is really smart.

You know,this song is the exact essence of undertale. It seems like the monster you are fighting is heartless and cruel,wanting to fight a small child,but really,it’s just that they miss their families and some of them don’t even have a family. In undertale, it’s really the story of how people who seem heartless and cold at first, are just trying to cope with something they can’t control. Undertale isn’t about you, it’s about how people can turn into something they’re not, because of something someone did to them. Like in Asriel’s place, he was once a innocent kid, but he got really sad and got turned into the monster he seems like. Thank you for your time. (Most of you probably didn’t read this all)
