Thing is...Sans was NOT joking. You don't say something like that and claim immediately afterwards that you were joking. He really would've killed Frisk if Toriel hadn't made him promise not to.
Not like he would have done much damage in pacifist due to lack of karma, unless he still pulls dirty cheats of no invincibility frames and continuous fast 1 dmg
Sans is like the Willy Wonka of the Underground, goofy, kooky, totally unpredictable and creepily sinister at the oddest moments. You really have to wonder what's going on inside that head of his.
+SuperNormalMan Keep in mind that if he wasn't protecting you... you'd be playing by his rules... Of course, you're not a monster... are you? Cause if you are, you'll be having a very bad time...
I love how it's at this point in the game you realize that there's a lot more to Sans than he lets on. When he says "You haven't died a single time", it shows you something. It's like Sans is indirectly telling you that he is aware of the reset ability before directly telling in the genocide route when really the only two who should know about it at this point are you and Flowey.
The funny thing however... Is that this is an optional event. You can play the game and never realize this exists if you reject Sans's offer. Granted i can't think of many people that would reject it right away, but the fact that its also something you are not explicitly suppost to know, adds to the scene. It helps too that while sans is around, his presence never really feels like it means much of anything. He is almost always around papyrus and when he's alone, he's usually cracking up humor at you. Until now.
Holy crap. You actually made it to the end without dying?! 8O Wow.... Even though I was already aware of the enemies and how they attack, I still died twice on the way over; one to freaking Undyne during a chase and dodge sequence, and one to FREAKING WOSHUAARON TAGTEAM. Congrats on staying alive
+Marle Peace I used Flowey's Time Machine to jump to this point in the game so I could grab the footage~ I'm actually terrible at this game and die ALL THE TIME X3
+Marle Peace I managed it my third time. My first time I died a bazillion to Undyne and at least once to some minor monsters. Second time I was careless and died to freaking Mad Dummy. Now the only ones who ever kill me are Omega Flowey and Asriel. So... basically just Asriel. That freaking Chaos Blaster gets me EVERY TIME!
The only people I ever died to were Greater Dog and Undyne, being that their attacks are PAINFUL. And then a few times to that flame guy in Hotland who uses orange attacks on you...whoever he is, he made my time there not-so-fun... And lastly, and of course, to Omega Flowey. Even if not having to start the entire fight over is a lifesaver.
I think that of all the Sans' voices on the internet, your's is the closest to being perfect.. Not too dopey, and not too Brooklyn-ish. And your delivery of that one line...I got serious Michael Clarke Duncan vibes there. :P
Dear god, with that "You'd be dead where you stand" part, fucking amazing. You NEED to redo the Sans fight, now, and dub it through. Don't end with sparing Sans.
Sans, why....you're my most favourite character in the whole wide world of Undertale..what did I ever do to make you give me such a threat ??😞😞 I just started playing it, and I NEVER plan to do the Genocide route, you get what I'm saying, right? ( By the way, if he was real; I would've said to him: "Sans, you're the love of my life!!"😍😍😍 But I didn't . To avoid embarrasment😌😌)
I love your sans voice timberpupers! However, sometimes you tend to drag certain vowels that shouldn't be dragged, since it gives out a sarcastic effect in places where it should be a sincere tone instead. It's only here and there though, so my suggestion is just probably bleep an eye out? Other than that it was amazing! Great sans's impression on toriel too... A character effectively imitating another character shows signs of great voice acting! Keep it up!

+Timber Puppers I actually think that's why I like your Sans voice more than any of the other Sans! Your Sans seems a little overly lax and you think that's his personality, until you finish a genocide route and find out the truth. But hey, art is subjective :P
I remember noticing a little detail in this conversation in-game, where sans’ voice sound effect changes slightly when he’s quoting what toriel said. Like he’s putting on a woman’s voice to better tell the story. I like that you included that

You get that if you seriously haven't died yet, where if you did Sans will notice an expression on your face and thinks that Frisk believes Sans is wrong. Interesting details in this game.
Heya, its been awhile since I watched this channel.... hasn't it? As usual, I really like the voice acting here with Sans, Papyrus and Burgerpants. Always wonderful to hear such good voices to voice Undertale characters. Keep 'em coming lad, you're doing a superb job!

I've heard countless Sans voices and yours is still my favorite. It's surprising how many fans don't realize that Sans is supposed to have a bit of an east-coast accent.
If you were the official voice actor for Sans and Papyrus then I would've probably bought the game... twice... maybe thrice... I don't know... I'm just making stuff up because your voice acting is awesome... Also, are you going to edit the battle with Sans with that "serious" voice you did with this one?
Hmmm... almost nailed it, though I think Sans could've sounded a tiny bit more depressed or sad when he was talking about "really finishing the journey" and when he talked about "Toriel not laughing and asking him the promise". But that's just me, this is great as it is. ;)
Once again Timber you amaze me. I love how "sans" portrays Toriel that was hilarious! And the "D E A D W HE R E Y O U S T A N D" was absolutely freakin perfect! Keep it up!!!!
You have no idea how excited I was to see this vid in my subscription box! You seriously bring all the characters to life with your awesome voice acting, and this scene is no exception! You pulled off Sans's casual attitude, the bone-chilling vibe from when he mentioned: "you'll be dead where you stand," and made that heartwarming line: "well, that's all. take care of yourself, kid. 'cause someone really cares about you." even more heartwarming!

when sans talking about that woman i thought that was other woman its toriel last year when i played undertale i didnt know it was toriel and thats why tori remembered sans' voice from the pacifist run and then a freaking flawe (flowey trying to be mean to 'em) appeared

Yeah, that single line paints Sans as a much darker character than is ever suggested otherwise, even in the Genocide route. Because when he fights Frisk at the end of that, it feels deserved and just. But in this scene he makes it pretty clear that he doesn't like or trust Frisk and is only sparing them as a favor to someone else.

That serious Sans, though! Ohhhh man, that was utterly horrifying, and exactly how I pictured him saying it the first time I played through Undertale XD It really... rattled my bones. Heheheh :P But really, I had to stop playing for a minute when that text popped up because it freaked me out so bad xD And even when he was like, "i'm just joking with you," I was like, "no you're NOT, Sans! YOU WERE DEAD SERIOUS, YOU WERE NOT JOKING" ...Also, I'm going to guess that this text is from when you really haven't died once to anyone in the game, since it's different from text that I normally see. That's pretty cool :3
I know right, It's adorable! I agree, he does a SUPERB job with the voices! :) ❤ As for the Toriel bit...I agree with that as well. It's not hard to figure out..especially since you remember going out through the huge back door from the end of the Ruins into Snowden Forest after you 'fight' Toriel. :) I'm such a nerd! lol! :P (If you haven't played Undertale and are planning on playing it, I suggest you don't read this comment as it contains spoilers. Also, if you haven't gotten the game yet..please do so! I highly recommend it! :) ). :)
