Can this boss be fought on genocide, at least legitimately? (I know its possible to still get the Golden Pear & Coffee, but I'm not sure about the Cactus)

You can’t. If you do the puzzle in genocide, the chest is instead thrown out the door and there is no boss.

So I have a little issue, I press the button that SHOULD open the gate and have all the golden items, while doing a Genocide (but about to be aborted to neutral), but when I get the stingray to travel there the gate doesn't open and can't pass by, is there any explanation or thing I'm missing beforehand? Edit: Turns out I needed to turn on the generators for the bridge to open

Is there some way the Golden items respawn? Or would I have to completely reset? I ended up using the Golden Pear during a certain rhythm themed fight and now am I completely locked out of this fight??

You can edit your save file pretty easily. Just go to the game's save file location (same directory as undertale), open the save data with note pad, scroll down to the item section and type in the name of the item (like G. Cactus , G. Pear , G. Coffee)

So a bit of a follow up to my Golden Pear Issue, I don’t know how to access the files to get my Pear back. Do you think you could explain it?

C:\Users\(YourName)\AppData\Local\Undertale_Yellow Open the Save.sav file in Notepad Do file -> find -> type in "[Items]" In one of the slots, replace it with "G. Pear" Hope this works because this is what I did lol, I never got the pear

I entered this boss fight on my no save route with only three root bears and the fancy holster... Needless to say I WAS NOT AMUSED BY 4 DAMAGE PER HIT WITH RANDOM BS PROJECTILES AND I FOUGHT GENO MARLET

what armor were you wearing i thought armor was dumb and sold all mine to the weapons store guy and i only have the patch and i cant get the golden bandana I just want to know so I can reset if needed and get that to get golden bandana (also im doing pacifist so i only have 20 hp)

I have compleatly missed that room. And I HOPE I was not the only one, How do you even get there? Is that the door opens when you have all the items? Like, I already got the golden pear and coffee, how do you get the golden cactus?

Golden cactus is one of the sandstorm rooms. A guy blew up a wall and the cactus is there. As for getting to this room, you have to interact with the bottom right corner of the room with the... furnace guy in steamworks? Then go to the island just before the last left of the stingray area
