Sans could never be there because they literally werent there until very close to undertale (the whole basis of the sans is from deltarune theory is on)
Consider for a second that Sans has to be swung at 24 times before he dies, and Clover has 6 bullets. If Clover doesn't mess up the sextuplet shots he could theoretically beat sans in 4 turns
Honestly i like how this is not just a remix, it genuinely sounds (at least to me) like what megalovania would sound like if it were in UT yellow, chord progression and all!
Given how undertale yellow doesnt use any non-yellow soul modes, i can imagine that the gravity attacks would be simply sans pushing the yellow soul towards the direction that his arm moves, rather than turning the soul blue
Reading all the comments saying Sans would just turn your soul blue so no death laser, I'm now imagining Clover using said laser as a rocket jump of sorts
I nearly went into a flight-or-fight response when I did Genocide and entered the Judgement Hall. “Please don’t be here.” And he wasn’t. Pretty anticlimactic.
"blip" *and where do you think you're going? *oh, my mistake. *i never introduced myself. *the name's sans. sans the skeleton. *kind of a big deal round these parts. *same can be said for you, i guess. *i've heard a LOT about you. *rampaging through the underground, killing everyone you meet. *... *i've met your type before. *pretty big fan of the whole "justice" thing, huh. *well, lucky for you, I happen to be pretty big on justice as well. *being the royal judge and all. *judgment and justice go hand-in-hand, y'know? *something you of all people should be familiar with. *... *i'd say we've chatted long enough. *gotta get back home in time for my brother's bedtime story. *so how's about we get this over with? but really sans shouldn't die in this battle cuz it not only breaks the story like og judgement route but also he can just run away by teleporting, and well if asgor didnt actually aim for the soul but for the body
@@marcospineda9408 Clover initiated the fight by continuously shooting her when she hadn't even said anything to really indicate she was a threat. Also, I'm not talking about that fight. I'm talking about how you actively hunt monsters down to do genocide, and how Clover did stuff like threaten Mo who's just a salesman, or basically every robot.
While Clover is still being a mass genocider, they still believe to be in the right probably, so the music reflects that, even though Clover didn't really kill anyone personal to Sans, at the end of the day, he's still the judge.
@@DeltaBlazin there’s also the fact that there’s a good likelihood that Sans is aware that Clovers ambitions do not lead to much worser things like Frisks. Keep in mind the only reasons Sans ever did anything is because he realized there was a risk of the entirety of everything getting destroyed with no chance of resetting or turning back. With Clover, it’s very clear to multiple monsters just by seeing them that all they care about is the missing kids. And they don’t even destroy the world either, or even really that many monsters.
@@cantmakeacreativename2072 I mean they definitely did destroy plenty of monsters, the dark ruins, snowdin, the dunes, all got wiped out, AND the King got erradicated, it doesn't matter if Clover has good intentions for it, cuz several of the monsters were just innocent but Clover took their lives anyway, Sans would absolutely bring judgement to them.
@@DeltaBlazin but the thing is, Sans doesn’t really care about that necessarily. He knows what the bigger picture is, that it’ll probably be reset. The reason he fights Frisk is cause he’s worried that EVERYTHING is gonna be destroyed, and there’ll be no turning back. As proof of this, Frisk can murder the whole underground, but leave out one monster, and Sans’s need to fight them will still go away. Granted he’ll be snarky and call you an asshole, but he won’t fight you. When he fights, it’s cause he’s afraid there’ll be nothing left, and resetting won’t be an option anymore. But that’s not the case with Clover.
The reason you don’t fight Sans is because even someone like him can’t outsmart bullet, it’s too fast to dodge Everyone has their Achilles heel For Sans it’s the second amendment
There is no such things as "faster attacks" in the undertale universe, the undertale universe works like a game, so the bullet would go as fast as the bullets goes in the fight UI, wich is pretty slow compared to a real life bullet, so sans could dodge them.
"so, i'm not supposed to be here, with this being a prequel and all. but leaving would've taken too much effort, and you know that's not my thing. anyway, whaddya say we give this another go?"
@@Th_darkmatterClover was the Sixth human, so it's not that Unlikely that Flowey existed back then. Because otherwise that means Gaster existed up until Frisk arrived.
* what's with the look on your face? * ran outa bullets, huh. * heh, must've had too much fun runnin' and gunnin' to realise you were short on ammo. * its probably for the best, anyways. * i'm fast, but i can't dodge a bullet. * ... * lets see how strong you are without your piece there, cowboy.
uh huh. but uh we do get a gun in undertale? i mean we arent using bullets but like uh we some how have ammo???? so i think he can dodge *bullets, hell* lot of them
@@metal42 I’d say it’s pretty complicated. Lore-wise it’s heavily implied Sans has a special ability that allows him to sort of cheat in fights. KR in general is a very theorized term, but it allows Sans to pretty much go from ‘weakest monster’ to ‘brutal tough guy’. The most popular conclusion to how it works is that KR only activates when Sans is fighting against someone with massive amounts of bad karma. Explained through various contextual details. With this in mind. Martlet is fairly innocent. Initially believing in the goodness of everyone, and rarely does she ever do anything remotely bad… besides maybe laziness or sometimes ignorance. Because of this, I don’t think Sans can logically do anything to her. KR won’t activate and his puny 1 ATK isn’t gonna do anything to her. On top of that, Martlet is very much a trained fighter even on her own, and she has plenty of ways to keep Sans on his toes. While Sans can’t really do the same, besides maybe his soul manipulation.
@@cantmakeacreativename2072Well I was talking about how Sans would beat Clover, not Martlet. But we have no reason to assume KR or KARMA doesn't work on people who have low LV or no sins, especially when Sans was confident he could defeat Pacifist Frisk if he didn't make his promise to Toriel and Flowey even warns Pacifist Frisk to not engage Sans in a fight.
Possible in-battle text *Maybe he is sheriff, but I am justice ourselves (after san's first attack) *Sans dodges bullet... somehow (after you attacked sans for the first time) *Pathetic (randomly appears) *He can't judging the judge (randomly appears) *Destination (randomly appears) *Sans playing against the rules... like all of them (randomly appears) *Enemy is vulnerable (at the end of fight) *Their time has come (when sans "spares" you)
@@esraakyol1783 Or he could put some bones in the way, if a trash can lid can block Clover's bullets than I'd have a hard time imaging some bones not being able to
Given how Sans is still present in the UTY lore wise, not gameplay wise. It would make sort of sense he would be here, but he’d be more serious and put effort in stopping you Since he doesn’t have the promise of Toriel, and generally different from Vanilla UT aswell.
I feel like Sans wouldn’t even bother tbh He fights Frisk as a final attempt to stop them from destroying the world, but Clover’s pretty clearly not gonna do that. UTY’s Geno Route is basically a really bad Neutral in the grand scheme of things
Flowey: *y'know, some people say yellow is the colour of justice.close, but that's not the word I'd choose...Yellow is the colour of Judgement. Also my brain:
Idea: Instead of Sans, this would be Martlet's fight on the roof (Same as Genocide but Clover didn't give her the time to inject her the serum, so this would be Martlet trying to survive our Retribution)
I feel Sans would not even try to fight Clover as Sans will only get himself killed while doing absolutely minimal damage. Sans only fought Frisk is because Frisk in the Genocide Route was much, much more cruel and evil compared to Clover which allowed Sans to utilize KR on Frisk, giving him an big advantage. Genocide Route Clover is not evil as Frisk, he is purely driven by his own twisted sense of justice, not bloodlust. He thinks what he is doing is justified and right. Which means, he is immune to Sans' KR effect, thus Sans will be the one having a bad time trying to kill Clover.
What you just said because you believe to, and cause you feel like to say that, now I gonna say what I believe. According to Sans dialogue during the fight in Genocide if original Undertale that have the main protagonist as The Red Soul (aka. Frisk), you are absolutely wrong Frisk isn't evil ever in the genocide, that what you see, as Sans said *no matter what, you'll just keep going. *not out of any DESIRE for good or EVIL... *but because you think you can. *and because you "can"... *you "have to." Is like Clover but Frisk is likely doing this because they can, not for Justice or out of desire for greater good ever for themself. Why I said that, cause he is the judged idk. And of course by the fact that without a promise he could kill Frisk is enough fact that he could kill the human ever thought they didn't gain any LV or EXP, but who know. And to be honest both Sans and Asgore that you fight didn't ever show you they full potential as both of them are seem like to GIVE UP and the depression thing (sans said that as the lost soul in Asriel fight) *why ever try? *just give up I did. *you'll never see 'em again. And he seem to "gave up trying to go back a long time ago". And the fact that Sans said this no using the his own fonts "Comic Sans" and he is the only lost soul who have a text that shakes during that. and Asgore is pretty easy to see what he go through as the king and as the father he lost two children at the same time, you should think that not everyone especially "the parent who outlive they own children" will be the same after that, and now he must doing something he hate but that is for they kingdom.
And Clover isn't going to destroy the world. The main reason Sans fights us in Undertale's genocide route is because we're going to destroy the world. Then again, I guess Sans might think Clover's going to destroy the world, even if they're not. We know Sans has fought Flowey and given him a bad time.
@@gg.420 exactly, frisk is only testing the possibilites of genocide route, Sans is not even going full against you because he know the timeline will be reset a moment or another, he's just trying to make you understand that what are you doing is wrong.
@@raythegamer8860 I think the final attack would be to repeatedly press Z to try to overcome Sans' attack, this brings two different results: - If Clover wins, Sans receives the direct attack in the chest and simply leaves as in the original, dying off-screen and the rest of the Genocide route remains the same. - If Sans wins, Clover's soul is locked in the soul container as in the Flawless Pacifist route.
@@alextheidiot8071 It's funny that Sans dodges the final attack only to be killed a few seconds later by another shot from Clover, it would be a parallel to his death in Undertale xd

I think instead of the dodge that sans does with Frisk, he uses his Telekinesis (animation) just to shove Clover's gun aside and make him miss his shot (and cancel the other shots)
You get to UG Apartments, Martlet looks around for her syringe... She can't find it. She runs away, knowing she can't beat you. You proceed to walk into the Final Corridor... You see a figure standing in the shade... Zenith Sans ATK- 2 DEF- 2 *Why do you suddenly feel like you're about to have a horrible time...?
Martlet : hey , clover I wanna you to meet with my fella , he also serves for royal guard here , in snowdin Clover : cool Sans: heya kid Player behind the screen : 😮
sans: “it’s a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, flower are bloom-“ *gunshot sound effect* *9999999999999999999999999* sans: “AH, WHAT THE *[barking sound]”* Clover: “Uh, what did you expect, I had a gun.” sans: “i mean, i usually dodge stuff like this and *YOU DIDN’T EVEN LET ME FINISH MY DIALOGUE-* Clover: “Hold on… You thought you could dodge a bullet?” sans: *a literal pile of dust at this point* Clover: “…Yeah that was pretty anticlimactic, thankfully he wasn’t as hard as Martlet…”
The motive why Sans didn't appear "That boy Clover can now attack in the monster's turn and dodging huh... I BETTER KEEP MY ASS IN THIS POST OR I'M FINISHED!!!" -Sans Undertale
Probaly the "cannon" reason, is because no need interview, in undertale genocide only interview because can permit no do it no thing, but in this timeline can do it because, clover no oly kill less monster, also ko gonna destroy the timilene.
I really feel like megalovania should have appeared in yellow, as it has been said that megalovania isn’t sans’ theme, it is a piece that fits for anyone
I feel like sans wouldn't go after clover just on the account of clovers goal. They aren't as heartless in their genocide then frisks in undertale. There's reason to their actions. Plus papyrus never gets hurt.
He wouldn't attack clover since he isn't going to erase the world. That's the only reason sans actually fights you in Undertale genocide. You can kill everyone, including papyrus, and he still wouldn't fight you if you spared a single monster. You erasing the world means there's no coming back. That's why he says,"Knowing what comes next, I can't afford not to care anymore."
I imagine this would be called “MEGALOMANIAC” or something, to keep in line with how all the themes that are remakes of Undertale themes have slightly different names.
Here's some pre-battle dialogue that I just thought up from like... 2 minutes ago. * heya. you look a little frustrated, huh? (Clover points their revolver at Sans) * ... yeah, i expected as much from you. * you know... you probably think you're this hero laying justice to the big bads. but, really? * you're just some weird kid who's never taken the time to consider who's actually the one who deserves it. * ... alright, let's get to the point.
“Listen kid. I ain’t gonna begrudge ya for wanting closure for the fallen, justice for five innocents who died. After all, I hear holding those kinds of grudges against someone you’ve never even met takes a lot outta ya. And as you can clearly see, ain’t much of me to be taken out in the first place.” “Besides, if I did begrudge ya for something like that, what I’m about to do to ya would look pretty dumb.” “Oh, spare me. All those civilians you gunned down. The trail of dust, orphans and widowed you left behind. Can you look me in the eye socket and tell me that you had the right to blow them off the face of this earth? That you knew for a fact every single one had a hand in taking those five lives?” “…Speaking softly and carrying a big iron, I see. Eh. If you’re really not one for such conundrums of philosophy…..” “….then I’ll do us both a favor, and get right to the point.” “think fast, ‘pardner.”
I like the Enemy Retreating motif in this one! It still has the energy of Clover holding the control over the battle even tho they are fighting the fucking Sans Undertale
His fight would probably be way easier in Undertale Yellow if he had a fight because against Clover, the only thing at stake is Asgore and the Souls, NOT THE ENTIRE DAMN TIMELINE.
No way is Sun-s Undertale Yellow from Undertale Yellow the indie fangame developed by Team Undertale Yellow released in 2023, now I can finally know what would have happened if Clover would have been the last human in the underground instead of Frisk
^I’ve got a question for you. ^Do you think I should’ve ran away? ^That as a dignified sheriff, I should’ve hid along with the others? ^… ^nah, ima do my own thing. ^see, you have a method to what ya do. ^and, if you take another step forward… ^you’re really not gonna like what MY method is. ^..welp. ^times up. sorry, fox lady. ^**This is why I never let my guard down.**
Imagine the genocide run, Clover killed Asgore, is about to take his soul and the 5 souls through the barrier, when suddenly, a gloved hand is put on Clover's shoulder, and they hear the words... "...you've been busy, huh?" Before sans immediately shoves them into battle.
