Honestly for me, Undertale Yellow is an amazing game that can show what cool story fans are capable of. Unfortunately, this game is free and right now we are currently unable to support the developers who worked on this great project.

@@grain3880 there aren't really that many big good fangames. Most of the good ones are just boss fight like Last Breath Sans, No More Deals, etc. The only other finished full length fan game I know of is Overtime, a TF2 based one.
Undertale yellow is one of the only games to make me cry and never want to hurt the characters in it ever, good job to the devs like seriously. Absolutely worth the 7 year wait. Martlet is precious and the best thing ever.

having followed this game since elementary school as a crazed undertale superfan and growing up, heading to college next year, and finally seeing this game release, i can safely say it has been one of the most rewarding and satisfying things ever. This game is not only loyal to its source material but manages to expand on it so beautifully and respectfully, with some of the best storywriting and humor ive seen in a game to date. im not a crier but i cried harder at the ending of the pacifist route than i ever have for a game or movie. I really hope all of the developers know just how much this game means to so many people, to see your passion create such an incredible not just game but work of art.
@@airamasu Yeah but that’s kinda the point tbh, BEST FRIENDS FOREVER and FINALE are both significantly hopeful than this. This is just desolate, filled with the sound effects of Flowey himself. Think it fits the situation quite well
I really wasn’t going into this game expecting Ceroba to be one of the main characters like whoa. She seemed like a side character pure and simple. Almost Mo amount of relevance at first. That was incredible.
They are much more subtle than most of Toby's work. I only rarely pick up on one just barely. I want someone to do a breakdown of the soundtrack and go over all of them for me :D
Undertale Yellow's pacifist route makes OG Undertale's genocide route so much more depressing because Clover sacrificed himself for nothing, the monsters didn't get freed. At least in the Neutral Route, another human can fall down and free the monsters. In genocide, the monsters all die and the Underground is empty and devoid of hope.
Unrelated: I wish the artists for this game did designs for the other humans, even if it was just like, in a twitter post or something. Clover looks so good that it's impossible for me not to see it as canon and now I want the other ones.
Arguably one of the best fan games of all time. Solid story, Great soundtrack, and better connections to the original game than pretty much every other project. I do feel like some things _could_ have been better, but overall this was worth a 7 year wait. Honorable mention to the neutral boss, that thing is the most creative boss I have seen in YEARS
I really like the theme of Ceroba and her battle. The soundtracks are great, just like the original Undertale. I will miss the main characters we met especially Ceroba Ketsukane her story is really sad, she lost her husband and daughter I really feel sorry for her. I hope everything will be okay with her. Her battle is magnificent and tragic. I like her very much! Starlo is a good guy and a loyal partner. Martlet thanks to her for everything. Clover rest in peace, you deserved better! Team Undertale Yellow thank you for the game, this is a magnificent masterpiece!
Glad to find more Ceroba lovers, seems like the fanbase is very divided on her, but I think she’s a great character, very tragic but still great. And this game was fantastic
I never played the demo back in the day (didn't have a computer during undertale's glory days) so this hit me like a curveball but I'm extremely lucky and thankful I saw the release day post so I could experience this for myself without any spoilers or knowledge of what to find other than knowing ultimately how it ends.
Im jealous of that. I think that it was stupid to not make a 1 week no spoilers timer, because that made me a victim of spoilers... Something like that can't be brought back.
I know this game exists like two days ago, seeing it's in full release recently really hits the jackpot. heard that it took 7 years to make it so I'm curious what this game has to offer, didn't expect much at the beginning but on the way, I love how creative the fighting mechanics, the graphics, the animations, the osts, how each characters portrayed was and low-key better than the og itself. this game is insane and it's a fangame, I want it to be canon so bad.
Fever pitch and forlorn reminds me of the blook musics in undertale, strong leitmotifs on different characters to show they’re related, letimotifs so strong it feels more like remixes than leitmotifs
What a fantastic game. Matches the quality of the og Undertale and strikes the perfect balance of the same vibes and feelings from new, creative ideas. Great characters, amazing music, honestly I'm just gonna pretend this is canon and recommend it to every UT/DT I know

I did not expect much from this game when I first played the Demo all those years ago... But now I want to say that.... ....I think I love this Fangame more than the original... It has managed to both fit in the lore, as well as give us something fresh and new. Instead of dwelling on the characters from the original, as most fan-games and AU's do...This game has given us something much, much more - new characters, new locations, new lore... The amount of mini-games, battles, music...Perfectly captured Toby's sense of humor...And a bittersweet, tragic ending... This game has managed to make me laugh, cry, be genuinely terrified... Thank you so much fir creating something so beautiful!
Can you fight him in genocide or is it only neutral? Or can you go back to your last save after you fight him? Sorry idk if I can do a 3rd playthrough just for that fight even tho it looks so good :(
Just finished the game, and What a delight it has been!. The production value, especially in the endagme areas, is insane. The later areas are downright georgous. The final battle took me by suprise as well. You can really tell that everyone improved at their craft over the course of the project. I wish you all well as you move on to bigger things!
I got to experience Undertale Yellow with basically 0 context and knowledge, only really understanding that Crap Was Weird™. Through the entire second half of the EIGHT HOUR SPECIAL that I witnessed, we ended up actually doing voices for the characters. (I carried, by the way. :>) I played Ceroba, among other characters, so when we finally got to the final boss...oh my GOD. Other people have said all this, but the way I experienced it, Undertale Yellow is the DEFINITIVE Undertale fan experience. I'm sorry. You can't beat it anymore, StoryShift. GO AWAY, FIEND! My Clover is SACRED!
amazing fangame. played through all of it yet didnt particularly find the soundtrack very memorable, but unexpectantly to me, so many songs are getting stuck in my head now. my favorite kinds of songs are ones that i dont usually like at first but then i just cant stop listening to them. overall, so much respect to the people who made this game and especially the soundtrack. 🫡 favorite song gotta be AFTERLIFE. got damn!!!
AAAAAA I love how much this game builds on the original, even musically!! I love the Yellow version of Another Medium even more than the original. Now whenever I get to Hotland in Undertale, the music feels a bit empty since i'm so used to all the additional motifs from Undertale Yellow
Retribution is so much more impactful when you think about the fact that that the same bird who was sleeping on her job and extremely goofy is now throwing metors at you to not make the Underground lose hope.
Havent played the game yet but damn these OST'S go hard! I personally really love Justice, it might not be a battle OST but i just love the overall vibe

@@gigogrom216лейтмотивы есть так то. Они не отсутствуют, например в той же битве с флауи используется мотив его оригинальной милодии, + милодии гейм овера. Ост полон лейтмотивами, я не понимаю к чему придирка.
@@gigogrom216 тема старло,(появляется в дюнах везде, и в главном меню тоже, чего в ориг андертейле не было) тема дюн, тема керобы, и chujin а, Эти мотивы появляются в их доме в касетных записях и т.д

I’m very proud that Undertale finally got fully completed fan game, but I’m also very sad that my other favourite game (Lisa: The Painful) will never have fan game that will be appreciated by original creator of Lisa and will be such appreciated by fans and other people, who don’t even know Lisa.
Whats that familiar sounding melody at the end of Specimen: Paper? Also Axis' melody sounds like that anime nerd music from Bernd das Brot and Chaoz Fantasy. And the bat and vampire music sounds like Paint it Black at some parts.
None of these songs have Toby's classic "the-title-is-an-entire-sentence" names, soundtrack's completely ruined /s But seriously, you guys knocked it out of the park with this ost! A Mother's Love and Guns Blazing are definitely my favorites.
