This feels like slowly descending into madness after eating too many friendliness pellets

The addition of seemingly random playful instruments is amazing, because it feels like Flowey is distracting you from his true nature, but it’s so ‘friendly’ you still feel disturbed. And when those instruments stop, you feel even more disturbed as everything has gone to shit and you’re going to die listening to an eerily friendly melody with way too many tri-tones. In short, good work. You gave me a heart attack, and that is perfect for the song.

The chaotic editing when Flowey gets mad really adds to the ambiance.

This was a pleasure to listen to! I loved the instruments you picked, and your inclusion of the tictacs as an instrument (Friendliness pellets? 👀) was really creative as well.

I love how unnervingly and creepily childish this sounds, exactly how Flowey's theme should be. It kinda reminds me of Yoshi's Wooly and Crafted World.

I really love all the instruments starting from 0:54 . It enhances the silliness from the whole composition. The sirene, the horn, the harp.. and the transition!! This is insane.. and the award goes to the tick tack of course 😆 amazingly done! Congrats on another great cover!

i really like the childish sound this has to it. mainly because it fits with the facade flowey puts up, but it also is kind of fitting with the fact that, technically, he could still be considered a child. with the fact that asriel died as a child in mind. i love it.

Do I see TicTacs as a makeshift rainstick or shaker?!

The twist at the end is perfect. It perfectly captures the true nature of this track. I honestly didn't see it coming and was spooked, just like the first time meeting Flowey. Not only that your musical performances are always beautiful, but you always put much thoughts into the background story of the soundtracks you cover, mad props! It's like the best way to honor the soundtracks. But the other thing I really love from this channel is I that get to see so many instruments I didn't even know existed.

This fits the character of Flowey so well... A deranged flowery guy, that looks cute and inocent on the outside, but it's hiding his horrible temper, his high level of acknowledge and his pessimistic and closed way of perceiving life in general after living for too much time. Every time you add another pellet to the dish, I can't avoid thinking this represents Flowey's deaths and forced resets; the numbers of lives he had to live while exploring the world; or, *the number of souls he took on his several runs.* Doesn't matter how much time happens, he'll get more unless someone stops this cycle...

The way this was organized makes me think so much of games like Kirby's Epic Yarn or Yoshi's Crafted World, and now it makes me imagine an Undertale game where each world is inspired by different kinds of arts and crafts.

I’m hearing the sounds from the things I watched as a child and it couldn’t make me any happier.

I was listening to the cover in the background and then all of a sudden I hear Flowey’s laughter and I jumped out of my seat

I love it!!! You always nail to make this covers have the essence of the characters, and this totally screamed Flowey from the begining to the end. Great job with all the little instruments that followed the main melody, they add a flow and atmosphere enjoyable. ;D

I haven't seen anyone mention this but the visuals don't show any eyes! It kinda gives it an inhuman kind of vibe to it, like somethings missing, that combined with the overkill friendliness generates that gut feeling that somethings wrong even before it descends. Great work Luke!

Ever since Luke's and Joe's collab on Joe's channel, I've really been looking forward for another video they did for Undertale. I'm not disappointed in the slightest! You always do an amazing job! (Also that descent into that eeriness was done wonderfully!)

Have you ever seen the cartoon "Ernest and Celestine"? This theme in your performance sounds almost exactly like Ernest's nightmares: it starts out cheerful and good, but becomes progressively more dissonant and uncomfortable... Even the set of musical instruments is similar. I won't spoil it, because it's a really cool movie, I recommend it)

Oh my god that was perfect in every way. It encapsulates the way it feels to meet flowey the first time. Back in 2015, during my.first playthrough, i felt legitmately SHOCKED when he hit me and then proceeded to laugh in my face monstrously. This really really givea the same feeling of naive innocence, giving way to fear and discord. Amazing work!!! I love all your UT/DR covers so far. It would probably be wayyy to much to do analog, but...man i hope you consider doing "your best nightmare"+"finale". I feel like youd nail it!
