Undervolt your Ryzen 5 7600 for more FPS and Lower Temperature! 

perfect, i recently update my bios and this is what i needed

5:12 Out of curiosity, why increase the voltage when it's supposed to be an undervolt?

These are my PBO settings in BIOS. PBO Advanced / PBO Limits Disabled / Curve Optimizer All Cores -35. I can go to -40 but it seems unstable and benchmarks felt like I dropped some FPS. My most aggressive is -38 but I find -35 to be the sweet spot. Thank you for explaining why you used Ryzen Master. EDIT: CPU is Ryzen 5 7600

@ImWateringPSUs I've followed your guide. I'm new to the "undervolting" but I have a question. My pc suddenly crashes when I use GPU intensive tasks, like Ai generations and Ai video upscale. My curve was setted to -40 for months, without any problem. now is at -20 but still crashes. Also, I don't know if I have a totally different issue, like the PSU not managing well power draw spikes. How can I revert everything to factory values and keep testing? I've noticet that when I open curve optimizer is still a -20

This actually helped a lot, but I encountered a problem along the way. When I apply the changes, my RAM back to 4800MHz. I noticed that you can enable EXPO in the profiles but everything I tried just gives me a black screen and then I have to reset the BIOS in order to get everything working again. Any chance you could go more into detail on undervolting and ensuring you are getting the max RAM usage?

I guess I am very lucky with my Ryzen 5 7600. It runs at 1.175 VSoc set in BIOS and -30 Curve optimiser, bringing VSoc down to 1.165 V when checking in Windows. And with these settings it maintains all cores steady at max boost of 5140 MHz in Cinebench R23 (I have not set static clockspeed). Temperatures are also very good, 67 C peek CPU temperature at 18 C ambient. So I did not bother about setting temperature limit in the BIOS at all. I also did not shave off few watts from PPT in PBO, what I did on my old Ryzen 7 3700X - that would be also a way to control temperature.

So undervolting in ryzen master gave me the orange ram led and for few minites couldnt even boot into bios, for all the people out there, do this in bios, not in this mad application

i undervolted and it reset/disabled my dram xmp, when i try to enable it from bios, it just doesn't work. Is there anyway to active xmp?

is this also applicable for 7800x3d?

I solved the problem with my Ryzen 5 7600 and low FPS by flashing the motherboard bios back to the original bios version (removing the latest version) and leaving all settings to default in bios. Now my frame rates in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 are back to where they were before I flashed the bios to the latest version and tried to undervolt the CPU.

why if i put -50 all cores in cinebenchmark r23 I get 80 degrees? even if i change the undervolt value the temp are always there

I have this CPU on a Gigabyte B650M D3HP motherboard, and I set the PBO to 80 2 and it ran cooler but my frame rates in MSFS 2020 went down. I did it in BIOS because no matter what I do I can not get Ryzen Master to work. It says overclocking is disabled.

Do you guys think i can do the same for 7600x and how does the actual performance enhance come with this, it kinda seems like we are limiting the cpu like temp and voltage and the increase comes from lower temp maybe?

Setting PBO to 80 20 in bios has somehow hindered my Ryzen 5 7600 CPU. Even now that I have set the motherboard back to default settings, I am getting bottlenecked at the CPU in Microsoft Flight Simulator now. I have lost 15 frames per second, and it is a bottleneck of the CPU doing it. I have not been able to reverse it and get the FPS I was getting before I tried this.

Hello i have a new build with 5 7600 and 3070 ti 32 gb ddr5 6000 cl30 and a b650 rog strix. Everything it's fine but in game there is stuttering on the monitor. It's and old MSI 144 hz with free sync and not G sync. I do not have some fps drops. They are around 160 and 200 for most of the titles... i don't really figure it out what's the problem

I got 5.5ghz allcore with 1.245v but till i will buy some new thermal paste im using it at 5.2 ghz 1.1v (SOC voltage 1v or 1.1v)

I put -30 on r5 7600 and lowered my max thermals from 85-87 to 70-75. My idle thermals are still a bit high, around 47 Celsius, because I have expo enabled with 6000mhz. Without expo, thermals are 40-42. Still I want to lower my thermals with expo but I don't know how.

This is a poor guide. Despite the video uses Buildzoid's settings (I tried that too but did not work despite having a pretty good CPU) I cannot see anything else learnt from him. Just to pick one main thing: per BZ almost every Ryzen 7000 CPU can do 6000 Mt/s around 1.20V Soc. Thus there is no need to bump it up to 1.30V blindly, especially when BZ also said that the increase in VSoc hurts infinity stability. (Plus it increases heat as well.) [I guess I am lucky because my Ryzen can do 6200 at 1.165V]. Furthermore a generic advice is that do not copy RAM timings of other kit found on the internet without research. There are only 3 memory chip manufacturer in the world, SK Hynix, Samsung, Micron and what G.Skill, Corsair, etc does is to build the kits from those. So it does not matter whether you bought TeamGroup, Kingston, whatever kit, what matters is what are the memory chips built in it. However there are tiers even within the chip manufacturers, for example SK Hynix makes A-die and M-die in DDR5, and M-die is slightly worse than A-die. Micron is the worst, and if you have a crappy Micron kit then copying a low tCL SK Hynix kit settings will very likely fail. Motherboard memory QVL lists are great source of info, because they usually show what is the memory chip in the kit. From my own experience I can add the followings: I am not sure how much synchonising VDDP, VDDQ, VDDIO can help, I have tried such settings without success, for example Hardware Unboxed's timings (which are based on of Buildzoid) which tell 1.35V - and now my Ryzen is running at 6200 + tight manual timings with all the aforementioned voltages lower than 1.30V. DRAM voltage also does not have to be the same as those aforementioned voltages. Additionally, testing is critical - the system can look like stable and running fine but tests still spit out memory errors.
