Underwater archeologist shows off small finds from River Wear. 

A new exhibition has opened exploring eight hundred years of Durham through weird and wonderful things discovered in the River Wear. Everything from war medals to pilgrim badges, toys to teeth are on show. They are part of an enormous collection of small finds uncovered by a retired firefighter who now spends his days scouring the riverbed. Sharuna Sagar reports.
