Don't think of it as a remix but a different vocal accompaniment, I still play both because I like both vocals and the music is simply awesome. It is the most intense hymn to a higher power I've ever heard except for "You bring Light in, to a dark place, walking in light...", from "Two Months Off", also by Underworld. All are enlightening, empowering, transcendental, and transformative. I've discovered that the most spiritual music is both contemplative and meditative. You can dance to it, like tribal rhythms. Before you dispute this, first attempt to do both and you will see that your spirit fearlessly rides the sound into the cosmos as it receives divine light in the stillness of meditation without causing sleepiness, and when dancing the spirit soars like never before to the same sounds. Avoid vocals that make you think or become emotional, that doesn't work when transcending this time, this place, this body, this self, and this conditioning. Much love, truth, peace, and joy!
It is a testament to the genius of Underworld that this remix exists. The original reminds me of the awesome presence of God Almighty and Perfumes angelic remix is like a prayer. I meditate to both of them, they just take me so high and so deep and that bass gives me chills. I have become a fan of both groups which are so different one from another.
