Without KD, Curry would have had only 1 ring for years, maybe for good. They recruited KD relentlessly behind the scenes, and he carried them to three straight Finals. If not for injury, he would have 3 Finals mvp's. Don't waste time hating.
Phoenix may have their "big 3" but there is too much redundancy in their skillset. And I hear Keyshawn there saying 3 superstars. Nah, Durant is the only superstar, Booker is a tier below KD, he is a star, Beal is not a super star by any stretch of the imagination.
@@Tampa81333a lot of Minnesota fans been Minnesota fans 😂 wolves been trash for a long time so I expect to see many more of that fan base start to talk sh*t .
Why KD left Golden State was something he should have worked out with Steph Klay and Draymond-they could have won the championship every year after 2019. Still don’t understand why he couldn’t want to win over anything else. I don’t feel bad for him-he made his choice
He didn’t want people thinking he wasn’t anything without golden state hense him leaving also even though he was best player on the team ..people still preferred curry over him so he didn’t feel respected or valued
As a warriors fan I understand why he left. That said, KD has always been unstable in that he can't pick a lane and stay in it. He says he just wants to hoop. He's not a leader and that's cool if you have another great player willing to fill that leadership void like he had in golden state. The issue with that is, you're likely not going to be acknowledged as the face of the franchise or the soul of the team. If you want those things then you'd have to lead a team to lots of success. But that requires certain leadership skills KD either doesn't possess or is not willing to employ.
@@russell4450 The media guilted and shamed KD from playing on the Warriors. He went to Brooklyn with Kyrie and random acts occurred in Brooklyn [Film recommendation/vaccine/Ben Simmons nerve damage] He's now in a place that's TOTALLY a misfit!
When the suns put together their “big 3” I knew it was stupid. You can’t have 3 similar guys that all so the same thing. You need playmakers, passers, hustle and rebounders, defenders etc
Ok I don’t get why Key is saying KD does not deserve the criticism he’s going to get if they get beat. KD asked to be traded to the Suns. Be careful what you ask for.
Rachel brings so much to undisputed she is exactly what this show needed period they needed someone who can direct the show and who can also control it and she is seem less with her topic changes let’s be honest she is the shows savior at this point and I hope they really secure her bag and keep her around because her being on the show is priceless in my opinion what do y’all think????
The Timberwolves are underrated they have a lot of good players on that team , I would not be surprised to see them come out of the West . They may not get there this year , but they are a up and coming team.
Respectfully disagree. The Wolves are last years Grizzs. They look good against the Suns because the Suns is not a real team. They a pickup squad. If Wolves make it to Denver they would get swept.
yep all offense no D i give the Suns the best chance to steal a Game at Denver but this will prob not happen, letzs see what happens at phoenix but i think series over at 6
Like dysfunctional Kyrie, quitter Harden, undersized Booker and washed Beal. Like small ball will not win in this era. You need size bruh. KD you should have teamed up with Embiid or Kawhi and PG
@@IcarusFallz what kd needs is a leader because he can’t be the leader of the team. He can be the best player but not a leader. This is the same for Kyrie, book, and Beal. Out of all the players he played with tho outside of golden state, harden was probably the best player
I said this as soon as they got Beal. Why tf would you get 3 perimeter scorers who all do same things? Their games don’t compliment each other. If one is hurting you, then the other 2 aren’t. There’s only one ball. They can’t all be hurting you at the same time. A good big three is a facilitator, a scorer, and a big. A bad big three is three bigs, or 3 facilitators, or… 3 scorers. And before y’all bring up GS, the way they all scored was completely different. And they had Draymond to facilitate.
KD been past his time he lost that fire in him after that GS run you can tell when he went to Brooklyn it was for just fun something different to be apart of
I don't know if he lost that fire to win, but KD has never been a leader. He just wants to hoop and that's cool if you're on a team with another great player who can fill the leader spot ie. Steph/Draymond.🎉 It is what it is.
Nurk is nearly as good as Ayton, with out the off court drama and for a fraction of the cost, and in exchange for Ayton they not only got Nurk, but the best 3 point shooter in the league in Allen. The Ayton trade was a MASSIVE win for the Suns and its comical to suggest other wise. The CP3 and Shamet for Beal trade is a little harder to judge. CP3 is definitely washed, and the nuggets basically abused him in the play offs last year to defeat the suns. Since age robbed him the ability to shoot, the nuggests just ignored him on offense, and targetted him on defense. Also shamet was taking a up a roster spot and a huge chunk of cap while contributing nothing. Word was, prior to the trade, the Suns were looking at releasing CP3 and eating his cap, and might have done the same for Shamet. So they basically turned dead money into Beal. That said, Beal not only hasn't worked out, but unlike CP3 and Shamet, he's got several more years on his contract, so he's tying the hands of the Suns for a long time, while if they'd cut CP3 and Shamet, at least next year they have money to go out and get some one. But of course the flip side to that is the writing was already on the wall that this might be KDs last year playing at a high level, so if you sacrifice this year, then you basically gave up 5 first round picks and 2 of your elite core players for a year of KD where you weren't even trying to win. Honestly ALL of this, though, I think would have been a non-issue if the suns had taken Haliburton, as everyone thought they would, when he fell to them in the draft instead of reaching on Jalen Smith who made so little sense for them that they literally dumped him after his rookie season despite him looking okay, effectively burning a top 10 draft pick for nothing when there was a player they desperately needed available at that pick. I still don't understand how James Jones kept his job after making that head scratching pick that is still haunting them to this day. But while anyone could (and did) predict Smith was the wrong pick there, lets move past that, what else could the suns have done different? Just refuse to trade Bridges in the KD deal. 5 firsts, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, and whatever other filler was needed, if any, to make the money work, should have been enough for an aging KD who had publically demanded a trade and seemed to be telling non-suns teams not to trade for him. If the Nets refused to budge, so be it, though they'd have been fools to do so given how far from being a contender they were with KD and there wasn't going to be a better offer out there. The core the suns had was already strong, and they still could have moved Ayton for Nurk and Allen. Heck they even still could have made the CP3 for Beal trade the following year, though I feel like there'd have been less win now urgency if they didn't have KD and still had their core of bridges, Jonson, booker, and now Nurk and allen that they also could have just cut ties with, CP3 and been comparable competitive while still having all those picks to make a run at a replacement PG in a trade, who then could have hung around once the second apron kicked in next year.
Funny how you don't even hear the word SuperTeam when it comes to the Suns....KD is an All-Time Great player from a skill perspective . Can't take that away from him. However, he's super babied. He's not a threat to MJ so the media apologize for him a lot. He's 35 and getting more excuses than a 39 year old who shouldn't even be playing the way he's playing. Look how low energy Skip compared to if this was Bron
Vidalmoore3537… he literally just averaged 27ppg (his career average) on 52% FG (above career average) and 41% 3 point FG (above career average) but he’s past his prime. Smh.
@@bloodybabyface the numbers is there for lebron too, do you still think hes in his prime also, durant can barley dribble the ball without turning it over if the defense plays him tight, he can only score 35 plus every once in a while if the defense is lax and not physical, a prime kd would not be shut down as easy as hes been since 2022, kd skillset is the same but the ability is not there
@@vidalmoore3537 if the numbers across the board (ppg, rebounds, assists and field goal percentage) are similar to their career averages and they’ve been playing for at least 15 years, then it’s pointless to bring up whether or not they’re still in their prime.
@Shon_G you mean mid as literally right now in this series or overall but he literally just averaged 27ppg on 52% FG and 41% 3 point FG for the season in 75 games.
@jacob… How is KD over his prime when he literally just averaged 27 ppg (career average) on 52% FG (above career average) and 41% 3 point FG (above career average) in 75 games in the season.
It’s crazy the typa of world we live in . Media making excuses for suns . They have plenty of star power and this is what kd choose . Ant is very good but stop glazing . He’s not Jordan esch .
