So, you're telling me that Rudy Gobert received a $100k fine for giving the money sign to the refs. Yet when Jamal Murray gives the money sign, tosses a towel at a ref, a heating pad at a ref that ends up on the court during play, and only receives $100k?! WTF? Terrible decision.
I’m actually shocked, the only legit reason I can think that they didn’t suspend him is cause the spot his team is in but even that isn’t a good reason
It’s about money in the end. The league wants the players on the floor despite what they do. Look at Draymond thinking he’s a MMA fighter and just getting small suspension. 😂
They don’t hold the refs accountable for missing and not calling clear fouls which affects the game so why should they hold the players accountable? Just sayin 🤷🏽♂️. Jamal is pissed that he’s getting mugged not locked down and they aren’t calling the fouls
He got clamped, threw a towel, heating pad and did the money sign.... The league didnt suspend him cause they want him to be present to continue to get his ass kicked!
It's unbelievable to me that anyone can throw multiple things out on the court and not get suspended. This is another example that quite frankly, the NBA wants Denver to win this series. The fact that Anthony Edwards received a technical foul for a stare down. And now in game 2 the Coach SCREAMS face to face with the ref and doesn't get ejected or even a technical foul? And then a player throws not one, but two items on the floor and again there is no technical, no ejection, and now no suspension. All of these calls and lack thereof are in favor of one team, the same team, the Denver Nuggets. If a fan threw something out on the court they are kicked out and lose their season tickets, sometimes lose the ability to ever go to a game again in that arena. The heating pack nearly made its way under Towns' foot and could have caused a serious injury. The NBA is an absolute joke of a league, more rigged than any other sport on the planet.
@@o.gparamount3099 Labeling is the tactic of he who has no argument. :) Please interact with any of the above points I made and show me where all of those decisions do not show favoritism toward the Nuggets. The ridiculously absurd Edwards technical, the lack of technicals against the coach for his screaming an inch away from Mark Davis' face, the lack of technicals for the ridiculous behavior of Jamal Murray including the throwing the heat pad and towel and not suspending him for targeting the refs, and endangering the players on the court, including his own teammates. Please explain how all of these, which all worked in the favor of the Nuggets, do not demonstrate the league's desire to push Denver through to the next round. Fortunately, the T wolves are far superior and no amount of help from the refs will stop the avalanche.
I dont like Key's analysis but he is 1000% correct on this one. All these people saying "nothing happen so let it go" wouldnt be saying it if it was to happen to them. Also the league needs Murray to play so that the chances of a small market sweeping the defending champs would be lower. Murray still a ho3 for that though
Murray is the most clutch guy ever from what I’ve heard. And Jokic is already top 10, can extend his arms and clothesline defenders, and can do no wrong. What yall surprised? They the golden boys now lol. Let’s go Ant!
While I didn't want to see him suspended, $100,000 doesn't seem to be enough when Rudy Gobert was fined that amount for making the money sign at an official. Murray's acts were much more egregious that that!
The nuggets get away with everything #1 the joker post up an pushs off every play no offense foul. #2 Murray through heating pack 2 times in the middle of play no call #3 call Malone got in the referees face no flagrant. That goes to show the league is favoring the Nuggets. Any other team /player or coach would’ve been ejected or suspended. Doesn’t matter if it’s Murray‘s first offense. Somebody could’ve gotten injured than what❓
Karma will haunt Murray the rest of the series for the bs he did ! He threw that with the intentions to hurt someone or knowing it could hurt someone !
😮 Adam Silver and the NBA Refs all need to get it together... Why is hard for them to be more consistent??? Ant got a Tech for looking at a player 👀 😮? This is crazy!!! 😅😂😂😂😂
As much money that he's getting paid, he should be able to keep his composure and be more professional than that. He's supposedly suppose to be a grown man not a child.
Throwing one object in the heat of the moment is one thing. Throwing two items is a complete sign of disrespect. Should have gotten a one game suspension and a fine.
difference is, Nuggets arent playing LeFraud! Draymond Green suspension in finals, unwarranted, Curry mouth piece throwing ejection, unwarranted. if this series was Nuggets VS Lakers right now, Murray would have been hit with an ejection + a one or two game suspension! anyone who thinks otherwise is a delusional LeFraud fan! and to comment on refs checking when someone gets hit in the face .. bubble finals, AD blatantly, INTENTIONALLY, swings on Bam and hits him in the face, no suspension was given, explain that? could easily have been reviewed and hit with a ejection + one or two game suspension, but no punishment was given!
Should be a suspension. That landed on the court and was on the floor where players were playing. Could have been an injury waiting to happen. Suspension is the only course of action. This is soft ass Adam Silver
The only reason they didn’t suspend him is because nuggets are down 0-2 and Adam silver doesn’t want another blowout and potentially 0-3 lead, if the series was tied he would’ve been suspended
😢 if I did that as a fan I would be banned from the Arena for life. And this is okay for a player? I guess us fans can start throwing things on the court and they can’t do nothing about it.
I like Jamal Murray. I get that he has a clean record. He threw up the money sign to the refs, threw a towel and a heat pack towards the ref and the court. Rudy Gorbert got fined 100k just for the money sign alone. Steph Curry got ejected for throwing his mouth piece and it wasn't aimed at anyone. If you don't suspend Murray then the fine has to be way more than 100k. At minimum 250k. I get that the league wants to keep the series competitive but still...
Player safety matters until ratings are on the line. That's what the NBA has said with this fine. Gobert got fined 100k for doing 1/4 of the actions Murray has done (money signs to the refs). Inconsistent, pathetic, unacceptable, and inexcusable from the NBA.
League office is inconsistent and a big joke. $100K is vending machine money to these guys. What's to deter other players from chucking items out on the court. Let's start a Melee and throw chairs, aka Bobby Knight.
If they didn’t want to suspend him because they’re down 0-2.. why not fine him more. Fine him as much as his game pay would be. I think around 400k. Dude has gotten away with so much shit this series with not even a tech.
So this gives Murray the right to handle his frustration in such a manner? Lebron was hammered because he jumped up and down on a obvious foul by Tatum. Let's just let it go. It doesn't matter Murray could of injured someone. It doesn't matter that the Coach ran on the floor in a rage at the Ref because the game is not going their way. We're Denver we want smooth sailing. We want Murray and Jokic to freely do what they do. We want Gordon down low bullying, and Pope aggressively attacking the ball, and Porter getting easy looks. The Wolves are not supposed to score and play aggressive D like that. I'm taking my ball and going home.
I have no interest in anything Keyshawn has to say on this issue because we all know if Lebron had been the one to throw things on the court he would be making excuses for him.
He didn’t even get a technical? But they gave Ant Man a technical foul looking at Reggie! Mike Malone ran onto the court and yelled in crooked Mark Davis and neither got a technical?
These guys are so biased comparing Jamal to Draymond and Steph for multiple infractions, that’s ridiculous! Also all are pulling to see the Nuggets dethroned. No definitely not acceptable what Jamal did but we’re going to act like he doesn’t have a reason to be pissed? The league clearly wants the Nuggets out because no one wants Jokic as the face of the NBA so sad
