Skip loves to talk about how LeBron is a bad late-game free throw shooter. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard him give props, or even acknowledge, that LeBron has iced a handful of playoff and even Finals games at the free throw line- where his team won the championship! In the 2012 Finals he did it in a couple of games. And then most importantly, he did it in Game 7 of the 2016 Finals! Cavs were up 3 at the end of that game, and GSW were going to have one more possession to tie it up. He drove to the hole and got fouled trying to dunk on Draymond. You can’t get too much more of a high pressure situation at the free throw line, and LeBron made one to put the game out of reach for GSW. Skip has no interest in being objective and pointing out the positive moments.
