What a joy to watch the Warriors for a decade, what a run, so many memories, thrills, championships and lessons learned. Even as a fan there was so much a person could learn from the different Warrior players, especially Curry. How to walk humbly, how to persevere, how to win with grace and even lose with grace. Watching a group of people believe in each other, have each others back, apply faith, battle together, fight thru injuries, break records, contend with rivals, etc, etc. Very thankful to have witnessed it all!!!!!
@williambrion2011 - I concur with you 💯. The Warriors Dynasty is far from over. They will reflect on this season and make it up to the Organization and the fans. Love the splash brothers Curry/Klay and also Draymond with a passion. Klay will get his groove back and make the haters swallow their words. Next year is our year
Jordan and the Bulls were the best ever !!! Bulls core was older when they were Championships and playing 82 games a year in a physical league with not a schedule that favors rest like these pre Madonna's need !!! 8:26
They ARE old, and when coupled with high salaries but younger players to develop - time to move on. Klay is done with the Warriors and Dray should have never been extended.
There is 0% chance Klay gets the same offer after the inconsistent season he's had and the 0 points stinker last night. They are already paying 170M in luxury tax, bro. Klay is gone gone.
I turned on the game. I saw Klay miss a lay up and like 2 three pointers and then I turned the tv off and went to bed because I just knew they were done. Dude keeps shooting even when he is sucking and kills the team.
He's not going anywhere. Curry already said he doesn't see himself without Klay and Draymond on the warriors. That being said klay's gonna have to take a massive pay cut.
@@erikdayne5429 Draymond could take a pay cut, but the warriors are trash without Draymond, because Kerr's offensive system relies on a passing PF, then on the defensive end, he's a monster. Curry is a superstar scorer, but we see how bad the Warriors are when you have Curry and Klay, but no Draymond. Kuminga is a very good player in the making, but can he play SF? GS's issue is that he can't pass, so he cannot replace Draymond, he's not a center, and he's too good to be a career bench player, so his best shot is to be a SF, but is his perimeter defense good? Wiggins did have injuries this year and struggled to get in a groove, and you could say he wasn't that different from Klay's lack of rhythm last season, but I think you just move him in a trade to save money, because I don't even know if his defense was up to his standards this year. Warriors were stupid to trade a lotto pick in Wiseman for peanuts. They didn't try to develop him, so they couldn't ask for much, but for what they got back, they could have still had Wiseman on the team, because Gary Payton II and 2 2nd round picks wouldn't have changed a thing. If the Warriors wanted a big trade, they have less tools to do it now due to that stupid Wiseman trade. Matter fact, Wiseman could have been a huge piece for their future is they had developed him. I get that maybe he didn't fit the offense and style Kerr's system wanted to run, but that was too little value in return for a lotto pick. It wasn't even long enough for him to be considered a bust. Warriors did this to themselves.
The warriors dynasty left when Mike Brown left. Additionally this is not the first time that the brains of a successful organization was not in the highest position. Mike Brown was the brains of the dynasty. Steve Kerr has never out coached his assistant. Bob myers knew this and that’s why he left
Time for GS to blow it up. Get rid of Draymond and Klay and replace them with young, hungry talent that will take the load off of Steph at both ends of the floor, and Steph might have a chance at another title with GS. IMO, if they keep either Draymond or Klay, instead of trading them both, they won't be notably better next season.
@@gloryroad7452 "they won because of Poole" Bro stop it... 🤦♂😂 If you add Poole's finals stats to Klay's finals stats you STILL don't get Steph's numbers lol. Dude had like 13, 1 & 1 that series
Keon Ellis didnt play 4 years in Alabama, he was only there 2 seasons before declaring for the draft in 2022. Before Bama he played 2 years for a JC in Florida SouthWestern.
If Klank Thompson (I know, he's one of the greatest shooters of all time but, for one night, he was Klank Thompson) So, had he scored 20 points, The Warriors would probably had scored 114 points. That's a close game and then anything can happen. To me, there;s no reason to keep the big 3 together. They will be older next year, not better. So break it up now and get back as much as you possibly can.
As great as Fox is, he def struggled a bit in this game, shooting 11 of 25. Keegan Murray's 32 pts is what gave the Kings the Spark they needed in the 3rd Q to keep the fire going!
Bingo can’t save them boys now, this how you know they narrative setters if this was Durant the title of this segment would be how does missing the playoffs affect his legacy, Steph is not that guy.
@OgSweenyTBZ_YT dude do you know anything about basketball steph has carried the warriors the last decade even when durant was there that was always currys team top 10 great you think someone could've saved them when klay shoots 0 percent helllll no don't be that dumb now curry is an all time great period
@@OgSweenyTBZ_YTCurry already won twice without KD before and after wtf are you talking about😂 get you head off the pillow KD ain’t walking through YOUR door 🤦♂️
@@gaminghd9968 we talking about today not what you did for me years ago Steph has missed to playoffs more than the law allows he’s been the beneficiary of great teams around him if Draymond is not there he doesn’t win he’s the most overrated player in NBA history and I like Steph but you and the media dweebs try to put him in the class with the truly elite guy’s and truth be told he’s not that.
I agree, i would keep klay and get rid of Wiggins, he just does not have focus to work like Kyrie. They only work when the contract renewal is taking place. That is why i would only give Kryie and Wiggins 1 year contracts. Get rid of chris paul and wiggins and just get a top 10 big 7 footer man.
There's another option: Trade the g(OLD)den state warriors core players for younger assets to rebuild for the future much like what the Boston Celtics did with Allen, Pierce, Garnett.
Warriors fan here, I agree with the guy wearing the white shirt….Now, that guy wearing black, who looks like he can be in a vampire movie, asking Paul Pierce, “Do you think the Warriors were sad last night?” Really?! What kind of a question is that Nosferatu?! 😂
I wish media would focus on the teams still alive in the playoffs. Yes, the Warriors were a dynasty. But this is an offseason discussion. Help people be better informed as they watch upcoming games
It's amazing how many analyst were saying the Warriors were the most dangerous team in the play-in after they were winning the last several weeks and Analyst were saying if the Lakers played them, they would eliminate the Lakers. In fact Espn Analyst had the Warriors winning I think 13 of them voted for them to win versus the Kings and only one person picked the Kings to win. This is truly funny. They couldn't even beat an injured Sacramento team. People were so in love with the Warriors that they refuse to accept reality. The Warriors are not a team that are good in a "one game" situation. It's the same team that had a 73-9 record and lost to Cleveland coming back 3-1, they lost play-in tournament several years ago and they lose this one against the Kings. It's like we've seen this before and people just refuse to accept how horrible they are in this situations. The Warriors would have lost to the Lakers as we have seen the Lakers are the most dangerous team to play in a one game series. It's like they are undefeated with the InSeason tournament, they've now won 3 play-in tournament.
There were so many thing happened in GSW this season, Green suspended, Wiggins gone, assistant Coach passed away , Coach placed wrong rotations etc ! How they can play well! Young players should play earlier, longer minutes for Moody etc anyway , hope they will play better this coming season ! We all support this team! Steph u deserves a great break ! Wish all have a good summer ❤❤
CP3 is an asset him running the bench is what saved the Warriors to get where they got this season. Especially with Draymond and his antics CP3 kept them going!! He is an asset on many levels maybe he will take a little less
They make no sense even if Klay and draymond are traded tomorrow. They are still considered lifer to GSW. They rode their dynasty from start to finish that will Never be taken away from that core group. Speaking as a basketball fan. They are just as much lifers to their organization as duncan, dirk, and kobe.
Key different I tell you , you would think him knowing that he don't know much about NBA he would just let skip & Paul take the floor on the basketball topics
Folks, I do realize Klay just had worst game of his career at the worst time. But that is one game. One thing I can say about Klay that he is true and sincere in his efforts. He will be ok. The real problem for the GSW is the following" 1) Kerr's lack of sound coaching with no defensive IQ 2) Management going small not securing a big top 10 center 3) Draymond's drama and attitude. 4) Andrew Wiggins really needs to be sincere in his effort to help the team with that paycheck he is getting. I honestly feel Wiggins have Kyrie Symptoms for getting out of working on consistent basis. Ones these guys sign the deal they just don't try to work. Klay's injuries are serious for the ACL and Achillies, But the guy is still top 50 in the league.
This Warriors core is younger than the 2nd 3Peat Bulls !!! So when here the BS the Warriors 73 win team who had all there players in there 20's and playing in a cup cake defensive league with no physicality and the 96 Bulls who won 72 games were all in their 30's lol so let's stop the BS about Lebum being better than Jordan and Golden St was better than the Bulls lol
Are we ever going to talk bout there coach because kerr been holding them since that finals lost to Cleveland he shoulda been fired and hired Mark Jackson back
The Warriors are done as a contender or even a threat for a deep playoff run. They have two choices: 1) Resign Klay and run it back as a 40-48 win team that'll make the play-in and maybe win one series and then let everyone retire or leave in 2-3 years when their contracts are up. 2) Blow it all up which means let Klay walk, try to trade Green and Wiggins, trade Curry, and then stink for a few years and stockpile high draft picks while developing the young guys. They'll likely go for Option #1.
