I feel like the price discrepancy between dont be jelly and all i ever wanted 1&2 doesn’t make much sense. But unearthly has some really beautiful palettes and shadows, im definitely wanting to buy their more expensive palettes later on.

I think it’s fantastic that you mixed and matched shades from different palettes. I do that too…. I think it gives me more freedom. Is it possible for you to do a video on all the brands you have with the squishy fun shades (like ItsBel, Sugar Drizzle, Unearthly, etc?

It does! I did a video a couple of months ago comparing shades across those brands. I just got the Unearthly All I Ever Wanted palettes so I will do comparisons with those too

@@badtothebrow Cool. I remember that video. I think the comparisons were according to similar colors. I’m on a budget, like loa of other viewers. I was hoping for overall brand comparisons. Qualified for the $ spent, if possible.

I have bought every single palette from unearthly and it’s amazing to see how they have improved as a brand. This leather and lace palette was such a different experience for me, with the colors in rolls and the monochromatic feel. It is colorful, yet classy. Beautiful nonetheless and the formula is just amazing. I didn’t get DBJ when it first launched because I didn’t care for an all shimmers palette back then. Now I have picked the revamped DBJ, plus both All I ever wanted. I really got into special shades this year, thanks to you. I used to think they were so intimidating. But your tutorials are just so good, I get super inspired. As for the pricing, besides having the extra cost with multichromes, the pans in DBJ are larger and the palette is magnetic. So I think that plays into the price discrepancy. But then I see people paying $120+ on Pat McGrath’s palettes for a couple of special shades… anyway, love your videos!

That last look when you brought the green in.. just beautiful! I bought the 20p All I Ever Wanted for $86, I expect I’ll receive it next month. I can’t see spending $72 on a 9p. Good to know about that the formula is the good one. I had that same conversation about a new Colourpop release “is it the good formula or the just ok formula?” Have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much!

Thank you! I understand! There are more shades in AIEW but smaller pans and as far as I know, no multichromes that would be equivalent to some of the shades in DBJ palette. It’s all about what you would like to add to your eyeshadow collection!

Thank you for this video! I wanted to see the dbj on top of darker colors. To me, $72 = $8 per shade, is a steal of a deal for duo chromes/multichromes. I ordered it the other day and I’m excited. Every look you did was beautiful!

I used to drool over the DBJ palette... I feel like I have most of close dupes to all of it now that I wouldnt need it but it does look stunning! Favorite looks were 1, 3, and 4 goodness they were so stunning 😍... thanks for the looks milly

I hope this palette (don’t be jelly) is worth it. I just ordered it for my bday based on the fact that you had only a few comparisons and they were all clionadh. I have the alien cosmetics palette the gold one with the apple skull. I forget the name, I loved it but I was really getting this for the multichromes

It's totally different - I have both GMG Unicorn _and_ the DBJ palette. They are very different IMHO.

DBJ5 kind of reminds me a bit of Vermillion from Clionadh and Venus from Terra Moon which are some of my favorite kinds of shades. I'm torn with wanting to get the newer version bc I have the OG one when they were still Alien cosmetics even though the OG one is not good at all. This newer one looks amazing though! @@michellerocco8343 Thanks 😉 I absolutely love their gel eyeshadows and want to try out some of their newer products. The one I purchased when it was first released, yes the circle panned version..Was the worst palette I've ever bought tbh. The formula is dry as chalk except for some of the black based multichromes and I hated the duochromes so much I threw them out altogether and just kept the others. I wanted to love it, especially after paying $70 some dollars (well more than that with shipping included.) I just had a horrible experience altogether with that palette

Thanks for reviewing Don't Be Jelly! I have wanted it since it first released but good swatches and comparisons have been impossible to find! I went to order AIEW2 yesterday and it had just sold out. I have been looking at palettes all day trying to see if I wanted something else instead until it goes on presale again. I'm going to get this one now that I've seen this, and the SD one tomorrow, if I'm fast enough. I love that these are bright without the black base and I love the colors. They'll be so easy to use and to pair. Your 3rd look was my favorite, but they were all gorgeous!

I chose the DBJ palette specifically for DBJ6 however I do not regret my purchase in the slightest! The pans are substantial. They layer over top of mattes _beautifully._ It can change the entire feel of a look. I decided to pass on the AIEW palettes. I suspect it might have something to do with the lack of a darker/black base. I don't regret my decision at all. Edit: Do you find the GMG primer works well for oily, hooded lids? I'm still trying to find the perfect primer!
