Back in the early 1990s I went with my 'Teddy Boy' boyfriend to a rock and roll weekend. We were sat in an empty cafe when a, quiet, average, guy in jeans and coat walked in. I looked and thought it was Lord Sutch, but without his hat and leopardskin clothing it was hard to tell. He comes over to our table... Looks at my boyfriend and says 'Don't I know you?' I was astounded... A famous person asking my boyfriend and not the other way round! 😮😮😮. It turned out they did know each other. So he sat and chatted with us. Boyfriend had never thought to mention it before booking the tickets... And Screaming Lord Sutch was the headline act!!!. The show was great... At one point he wore a Maggie Thatcher mask with a loo seat round his neck 🤣 We met up with Lord Sutch again a few times, as he would give us free tickets to his shows. He was so different away from the spotlight. A quiet, inconspicuous, tea drinker who sat in the corner. Sadly, the boyfriend and I split up and a couple of years later Screaming Lord Sutch took his own life by hanging himself. His mother had died a year or so earlier and he spiralled into depression. When I heard the news on the radio that morning, I cried so hard that I was 2 hours late for work. He was one of a kind. I didn't manage to get down to his grave until 2012, but glad I got to lay some flowers as it was bare.
Such a fan of his politics. Thank you who ever uploaded this. I appreciate it! Such a great Rock 'N' Roll politician. Also I lived near him in South Harrow. I've visited his grave very sad when he committed suicide in 1999.
@@Britclip I voted for the S.O.B. (Trump) in both elections. I didn't like him at all- but the Democratic candidates both promised to ignore the Second Amendment by bring in more unconstitutional gun laws. I am a responsible gun owner, not a criminal, which is what the changes (illegal) that the Dems proposed would make me. So fire truck them. (< you have to leave out a few letters, I'm trying to be nice amid strong feelings) The Second Amendment = Freedom !!!
