Hell yeah. Unending dawn conserved it soul like gameplay. Was worried that it was a scrapped Alpha and they went back to classic hack and slash mobile gameplay. I can play both Wuthering Waves and this and get completely different vibes now. They just need to study more on what makes soul game popular like the recent Elden Ring and Sekiro, also Rise of Ronin. This will probably be the most skill check game out of the gacha so far. Also Duet Night Abyss(warframe) and Endfield(Xenoblade) too feels very differents, so Im interested.
Love Prince of Perisa chain effect, at least asian people don't forget about it.... Ubisoft yet another time showed how talentless they are without good Prince of Persia game in decade.
There is definitely a clash. I think the dev is in a situation where they want the cake but to eat it too. Either you commit fully to the Souls-like art, or do the otaku/anime-pandering thing (esp. the end of the video). Neither one is a bad strategy per say, but they need to make up their mind.
