Unexpected FILIPINO Kindness on CHRISTMAS (this made me emotional!) 

I really admire your enthusiasm to celebrate again Christmas in the Philippines, but I was touched when you stop and repeat saying..."Your not spending Christmas with your family"...tears flowing, anyway, the best company is with yourself as long as you love yourself, things going to change positively, the universe will not allow a good person to be lonely and sad, along the way you will meet people, someone who will give back your smiles, your laughter and fun-loving attitude. For me, many times I also travel alone for work, spent my birthdays, holidays, Christmas and new year' eve in the bus, train, airplane and ship and use to live it. "Life is a Journey" and the meaning of Christmas for me is not only being with the family during Christmas Eve, it is the season of giving, to give love, a time to feel the glory of the coming of our Saviour-Jesus Christ, giving up the comforts in life, the luxuries and material things. To live simply but with joy in our face. "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Nellyslife.

I too was alone this Christmas but am looking forward to moving to the Philippines in 2024 and celebrating next year with the friendliest people in the world

The culture is unbelievable there. I know I feel good when I am there, and I miss it when I leave. People there for the most part are the best I have ever had the pleasure to be around. There is something about the culture that pulls you in and you don't want to leave.

It's okay Nelly you're not alone spending Christmas away from family. I'm away for 7 consecutive years from my family now and yes sometimes it's sad that most festive occasions you're not with your family but let's just hope and pray for good health and safety. Nelly, you’re a strong woman to go on with your life after Mike. The man above has your life written and Mike was just a stumbling block for you. You picked yourself up and that experience made you stronger and you learn from that experience. Was it a mistake?
