Seeing the ancient stone statue of Kraft brings back his comment or question to Frieren when they first met. When Fern tells him that Frieren was the mage in the Hero’s party that defeated the Demon King, he asks her what she was before that. That makes it seem like elves may take on different roles in their long lives. I wonder just how old Kraft is and how many cycles of saving the world he went through.
Sorry for the delay in videos this past week, I have been super tired and busy. I am gonna try and catch up to Frieren by next week and as soon as I am I will be starting Bleach on the channel!
tbh, rewatching frieren everytime really kind of reminds me of the first time I watched Magi years years ago.... like i know its different but the fantasy feel is so good too
Frieren not exacly is "passing legacy" of Himmel. In the beginning she said she goes for this journey before it's all lost. She is aware of passage of time and want to re-visit her journey with Himmel to learn more about him (guilt of not trying understand him from 1st episode) before he is forgotten in time and she won't be able to encounter people who knew him.
"This isn't your village" is such a great line. It shows that he completely understands what it was like to grow up there, and that he doesn't want his village to be like that.
