Perrserker = Great Pokemon to cover against Steel and Fairy Giratina = Deals Neutral to every pokemon even though it gets hard countered by Fairy Haxorus = Attack Debuff support DPS with a Nuke Very nice video Henry! You making people's day with Perrserker and Iron Head giving everyone more options to run and build this pokemon as it just has a good movepool against all the pokemon in this format. Shadow Claw for neutral vs everything (not Guzzlord). Foul Play to hit Steel/Dragon for neutral, Close Combat to shut down Registeel or other steel types, Iron Head to deal with Fairy types like G-Weezing/Slurpuff which are difficult pokemon to go against as they know Fire type moves, and ofc Play Rough to just deal with Dragons. All around a good pokemon you can just build and use as a flexbility moveset depending on what your other pokemon lacks for type coverage to be a role filler.
i ran a haxorus lead (breaking swipe/earthquake) with fini and primarina. i had back to back 5-0 sets before i was met by a wild charge/play rough zacian and got swept lol
Out of all the times I’ve ever heard Henry say “that did nothing” I’ve NEVER seen a move do like 1 damage from the double debuffed gira into perserker. It was actually nothing lol
Good shit, as per usual, but got a question: would Wigglytuff make a difference against teams like yours or is the max CP (around 2200) not enough? Been rocking Fini, Drill and A-slash and having a blast!
You only run low attack if you want to minmax defense, Perrserker normally can take 2 hits regardless of IVs from most pokemons generally but against 1 turn moves like Tapu Fini + Water Gun then having that extra defense would help. Otherwise higher attack makes your Shadow Claw hit much harder in most matchup and is usually preferred if you are going up against pokemons that require 2 charge moves to KO because it won't make a difference if you have more bulk or not such as Giratina-O with ShadowBall as they do around 50% HP per hit. And also not everyone can afford XL Lv50 for some pokemons so usually 100% IVs are still okay to use if they don't have the XL or just don't have a good IV one.
I wish someone did a “hunting Greninja in the ultra league” with my boy Chesnaught. I’ve got a decent one but I don’t have the skill or Pokémon built to have a great team (currently have 4 mons for great league but in need of an actually decent swampert as opponent to my poor one. I’ve got Swampert, Charizard, and Walrein [my current team] but should have a Venusaur and greninja soon)
Is the stats in the left side the best stats? How can we get a 8/7/14 Origin Giratina? Sorry that I just returned in Pokémon GO and I don’t know much about how it works.
Watching your masterful plays makes me jealous because I wish I was able to play the way you can. Currently at 2679 ELO on expert rank. Hoping to make it to legend in 2 weeks
Nice games as always Henry. You really make me want to make a push to legends next season. This season was the first ever time i made it into elo but the highest ive been at is ,2244
This week is the worst. Unplayable for a 40 lvl trainer with all these XL pkmn, legendaries..and of course master league is even worse. Anyway good video as always, gg
Fun cup mostly RPS but despite losing matchups type wise, most pokemon are able to put in some decent damage or flip switch due to their move coverages.
Iron Head Excadrill works too, beats down Fairy Types and you can sub out RockSlide as it only really wins against Flying which is just Togekiss/Dragonite in this format mainly. Rayquaza and Skarmory are also available but you will not really see either of them due to moves coverage they have or bulk. A very underrated move but works so good in this format.
Giratina is just so good because nothing resists Ghost Type damage in this format other than Guzzlord which just makes it a powerful neutral dmg dealer even against Fairy. Shadow Dragonite can work but you get shut down very hard by any Fairy or Steel type (that isn't Registeel or Lucario) so it really depends on what your other 2 pokemon are.
It's not too broken as it is only available to Glass Cannon pokemons but if it ever gets put onto any Tanky pokemon then it will break the game. Imagine if Cresselia had a Breaking Swipe clone for a Psychic type move then you will see everyone just hate fighting against one.
@@Denizozzzy003 any tank Pokemon with a extremely spammy debuffing move is just very broken. Bubblebeam on Jellicent is there but it is balanced out by the fact that BubbleBeam does not do damage and costs 40 energy, while moves like Icy Wind is balanced for damage and energy for 60 dmg 45 energy. Who knows what surprises there are when the next season comes we might see some insane Pokemon buffs soon.
Normally I'd agree, but origin plays quite differently to altered. In this meta, origin is a true generalist, as nothing of substance resists ghost moves
Was there a single loss in this video? Don't remember any match being close either. The "battles are over before they start" videos are my least favorite.
Typically I try and feature losses, unfortunately this team did not lose a game in the games that I played with it. Tried it again tonight with flygon instead of hax and went 14-1. It just cooks
