Unexpected Trip | Birthday 2.0 

I’m a firm believer that birthdays should be celebrated at least for two weeks to a month😉! After all you’re totally worth it!! Plus you won’t have another one in a year!😁 When I was a kid and we’d go to Sedona, we always wore jeans and a shirt (for the sun) and water shoes. This was because it was slippery and the jeans protected our body. But I remember it being so fun and very slippery!! Haha Someday I’ll get back. Hopefully😋maybe. Such a fun day!!

I’ve played the clarinet for the past 10+ years and the bass clarinet for a few years on the side :) it’s a great instrument. I would recommend buying a neck strap because it makes it easier to hold the clarinet since all the weight of it goes on your right thumb and also purchasing a screwdriver for the screws on the clarinet keys, will help you when they loosen :) Also clarinet needs a lot of face muscles especially the ones around your mouth. Finding your embouchure will take time and it will be hard but it only really requires practice and time. I know Evie will do great! All in all this was such a fun video to watch and it was great to see everyone on the trip helping and looking after each other because of the slippery rocks. Your videos always look very genuine and it’s a great thing to see! Thank you for your videos

We were at slide rock on august 8th. My son loves it there. You need good water shoes with grippy bottoms. Slides and sandals are not good. And you will definitely slip and fall if you are barefoot. Even with good water shoes on you can slip but it is less often. We went when it was really hot so the freezing water felt ok.

Crystal you need to bubble wrap yourself on any adventures with the family😊 That looks like such a fun place Aaron that was really brave to jump in and facing your fear

I so feel Aaron!!! On my 50th birthday I had the idea that I will do the zipline with friends. But note that I suffer from acrophobia or fear of heights which is why I thought doing the zipline was a good idea to conquer the fear. Took me more that 5 minutes to actually leave the deck to zip through the line. It was only the thought of people waiting behind that really pushed me to make the jump! So, way to go Aaron!!! And happy birthday to Lucas!

Aaron, I also had a very early water experience as a kid and I sensed the courage it took for you to do that jump Bravo From someone who understands the fear.

Advice on the next trip bring some water shoes that have grips on the bottom !! It will help make sure you wont slip and fall on the rocks ❤ I used to swim in the Florida springs growing up, and I learned quickly how slippery things can get . Love this vlog and glad everyone had a blast !!

Evie needs to b careful with the reeds for her clainet. They r fragile. I tried to play it in 6th grade until I went back to the school I loved that year. Amazing trip but I’d never go there because I don’t like climbing rocks. Interesting about the McDonald’s color. Tristan is loaded with all kinds of information. Jamie & the girls loved their shirts. You should family trip to the highway of Legends in La Veta Colorado. The deer have more rights than people. And they just cruise town chilling in everybody's yards..lol

Consider to use a minimum of safety equipment such as watershoes and skin protective, thermal swimwear. Better safe than sorry. The wound on your tibia might heal quicker with help of Arnica ointment, Crystal. Massage every day a little moment. Thank you for sharing.

I live over in lake Havasu City and I wore them down at the lake all the time even by our pool.. they have the rubber bottoms that keep you from slipping

Actually Sedona’s McDonald’s not the only one without Golden arches there’s like a handful of them that are like that there’s a couple here in California as well. One McDonald’s even have black arches and one McDonald’s has teal arches.

Aaron, I am so proud of you because I would not have the guts to do something like that. I never had the opportunity to learn to swim as I was not allowed to swim in the best beaches or pools because at that time the colour of my skin when we lived in a country that had Crocodiles and that terrified me so it was only when we moved to Canada that I had the opportunity to learn to swim. I like Aaron am not a strong swimmer.

Omgosh! This swimming place looks dangerous to me. Swimming shoes would come it handy & keep everyone from slipping. Tge water creates a thin layer of algae that is like being on ice. When I heard the clapping I thought it was the start of mexican music. 😂😂 Until I saw it was Tristan. Looks like a fun day for everyone though. The matching shirts are cute.
