In fact, Catherine has worked several years only part time. There is no good reason to undermine William, the Edinburgs, the Gloucesters. They all work hard, but don't get as much media attention, unfortunately.
The fact that she is up and talking is great ! I knew a guy that got kicked in the head by a horse and he was never the same again. This just proves the Princess Royal is one tough cookie.
Being hardest working is non-sense. The royal duties are not just royal visits. That way the "hardest working" is defined ignores fully other kind of work, for example those based on the job description of the King in the law.
The King had no idea what would happen to 3 healty seeming Senior Royals in less than a year. Give him a chance. He has been very "vocal" about his love and admiration for both The Princess Royal and The Princess of Wales. He'll work it out. Still sending prayers and best wishes to all 3.
PA I'm sending you lot's of love & I pray for a speedy recovery. PLEASE stay as strong as you are. 🙏🙏🙏🙏. We all know the height & depth of ure strength , ok. MUCH LOVE PRINCESS ROYAL.
We all know how hard The Princess Royal works, and that’s why we love and respect her. So, please, put yourself first in this case, take time, and be 100% before returning to public life. Love and best wishes for a speedy recovery to you, Princess Anne. 🦘🦘🇦🇺🇦🇺
Have nothing but admiration for Princess Anne who supports her brother the King Admirably. Princess Anne will be working on doing good deeds and serving until the day she goes to heaven .
@cakehole53 I agree as head injuries can be serious and unpredictable. We all know that Princess Anne is probably saying,I’m fine,it’s just a little head knock and I’ll be back next week! I hope she listens to the Medical team and her husband and takes the rest that she needs and comes back when she’s better.
We wish the Princess Royal a full and speedy recovery. Unfortunately, as we get older, even minor accidents take longer to get over. We think we are ok when really we are not.
Princess Anne once said to Meghan “I never forget a face, but in your case I’ll make an exception!” Meghan gasps and said “I didn’t come here to be insulted!” Princess Anne replied “ OH! where do you usually go then?”
As someone who has spent years dealing with elderly relatives I can tell you people over 70 don't bounce back as quick as they did when they were 25. Especially if there's blood loss involved. She's probably covered in bruises too. It'll probably be another few weeks before she's back in fighting form. Best wishes to her and her husband. He sounds like he's taking real good care of her.
Harry should take a leaf out of her book, she is the 'Spare' but she is a powerhouse, dignified, hardworking, is polite but doesn't suffer fools or idiots. She gets on with things. I have never, ever heard news or gossip of her criticising her family, mother or father in anyway, anywhere.
There is absolutely no rush for the Princess Royal to return to royal engagements. Her health comes first and is of foremost importance in the minds of the British people and those who admire her "across the pond". We want her WELL. She must take her time
Neil, I want to take a moment to thank you for giving us the update not only on Princess Anne, but also on his Majesty King Charles and the Princess of Wales and keeping us up-to-date on the rest of the Royal family❤
It's so sad that the Royal Family has suffered so many health issues. Even so, they've handled it with the usual grace and dignity. Concussion is nothing to gloss over. This can be very serious, both short and long term. May she recover quickly and completely. The family certainly needs her.
Princess Ann has always had my respect and I hope she takes time to recover. Before the accident I saw a photo fo her and it crossed my mind how tired she looked.
It's a good thing Princess Anne is under close observation - I remember how awful it was when Natasha Richardson died, partly because she'd insisted nothing was wrong after her fall on the ski slopes.
@MegaMesozoic omg I remember that and she just dismissed it and said it was just a minor fall and then died two days later from her head injuries. Very sad for her,Liam and their teenage boys. Head injuries can be minor or serious and can be fatal as in her case. Princess Anne wouldn’t have been released from the hospital if they deemed it extremely serious but obviously she is on strict instructions from her medical team and they will still be monitoring her at home. I hope she gets the care and the rest that she needs and will resume Royal duties when she has been declared medically fit.
I remember that as well. Also crossed my mind was Princess Grace of Monaco. After the accident it was reported she had a broken leg, not serious. Next , she was gone. Diana attended the funeral as the Queen's representative. 😪
