Infinity is not so “either-or” as one might hope. There are levels and gradations to it, like the transfinite cardinals and ordinals of Cantor, or fractals, like the Koch snowflake curve.

If a god created the universe, then what created God , and what created that god, etc You are special pleading, making arbitrary exceptions for arbitrary reasons specifically because in order for thus claim to even begin to be intelligible you have to treat it in a way you don't treat anything else, otherwise this claim falls apart. Its a shitty justification for any claim This is the problem with inserting god into the bit we haven't answered yet. There are countless things throughout history that we didn't understand and attributed them to god, and then we discover the answer, and suddenly god is no longer filling a gap. If you want to appeal to a god of the gaps, then your god is an ever receding pocket of ignorance we are gradually closing.

@@riokouk Religion doesn't have any evidence. Only claims, claims that are often circular, poorly understood, irrelevant, among other things. Science can only explore proposals within the natural world, you cannot do science otherwise. That's why science say nothing about whether or not exist, because such a thing would have to have existed before the universe began in order to have created it in the first place and thus rendering it an unnatural entity by definition. A god that cannot be shown to exist is indistinguishable from aa god that doesn't exist.

The expansion of the universe is only present on the largest scales of the universe. Andromeda is close enough to us that the impending collision and gravitational attraction is locally strong enough to override the expansion of spacetime but once you that looking at the universe on the scales necessary to discern expansion we can clearly see expansion, and the farther away it is the faster it is moving away from us. Its something like 75km/s per megaparsec.

Here’s a better question: one God or limitless Gods? Throwing polytheism at monotheistic believers saves a lot of time and debate. Catholics can always use the Trinity as a reference to polytheism, but still only one God in three entities. In my limited human understanding , there are only three options- atheism monotheism or polytheism.

A "multi"-verse remains a SINGLE UNIVERSE composed of multiple universes (like ours, which could be inside a black hole), ETERNAL and INFINITE that is continually TRANSFORMED and manifests itself in many, infinite ways, whatever they are called: Human beings, Galaxies, Quasars, Black Holes, Dark Matter, Singularity, etc... The Universe or Multiverse only transforms: It is PURE ENERGY.... It is impossible to prove it, but it makes no sense to have a Beginning, or an END in time, or any Space LIMIT: What could be BEYOND the Space "limit" of the Multiverse? Well, ANOTHER Universe... And what could have been BEFORE the BIG BANG? Well, another Universe or Multiverse... And once ours cools down and perhaps COLLAPSES into a SINGULARITY, perhaps it will give rise to another Big Bang... ETERNAL...!!! And most importantly: That Universe-Multiverse is GOD! A God who does not reward, punish or monitor anyone. That he is not looking out for anyone. So ENJOY your life!

Based on what data or evidence, did scientists know for so sure about the “inflation”? Why was it necessary? How did they even figure out the fraction of second time period? It seems that there is less explanation about inflation than other concepts

Based on the info that galaxies, stars, materials pointing in most directions are ona constant expansion from us in our galaxy while those in another direction are moving away, but at a slower rate...foreseen by the color tones of IR light waves. That indicates the universe is indeed moving outward; using Einstein's theory of motion. Upon knowing at what speed matter on our planet moves in reaction to an explosion, then calculating what speed matter moves ina vacuum and at the distance of the seen matter, we can get an approximate time of beginning. Now, we could entirely be wrong through there being matter/galaxies that are so far away we just cannot see them; making the estimation of universe age be very very short of the real age. Could be several trillion years for all we know. Or actually infinite.

The universe was definitely created beyond our concept, without the universe there would not be the creation of life. I believe that the creator created all this. Mankind or alien beings couldn't even have the slightest concept of creating our beautiful universe. My question is will it expand and collapse?
