when he mentioned that the sound of sitar put them to sleep while laughter club woke them up in the morning, it felt like straight out of novel. Beautiful and poetic at the same time. The simplicity of this man and his humbleness never left his side.
That T-shirt in a "Gamcha" style & "Chappal" gives me a feel of my relatives from my village. This shows his attraction towards his background. He is an exceptional person.
I saw Pankaj Tripathi at NSD 5 years back... he was so humble and just like any other guy.. white shirt and a gamcha around his neck... a gem of a person
pretty much what he said ☺...white shirt and gamcha might seem very normal to him or any other rural upbrought person but seems gem-like or humble for someone like me or you.
Moreover, the important aspect is to be in that 'natural state'. In today's world where everyone is putting on a mask of modernization fearing that someone might think less of them, he is unduly comfortable in his authentic state without pretending to be someone else that he's not just for the sake of society.
"Aj to Jeevan Badal ke bhejenge" epic line... could not get that out of my head for straight two days... (44:30) I have been applying that line to all of my team meetings and trainings. 😀😀😀
Always wanted this to happen... What a simplistic person he is, so generous and down to earth. Also thanks to Samdish for letting him speak so freely. Totally loved this interview.
Pankaj Sir is a gem of a person. One of the Finest artists of all times.. So much humility, full of knowledge & very rich experiences of life.. Huge respect.. Enjoy & cherish such talents for as long as they are present.
Just love the simplicity of Pankaj ji and his acting ofcourse He said 5th September was given by his teacher by mistake as it was teacher's day But also 28th September is our great Nightingale of India late Lata Mangeshkar ji...so Pankaj ji was born to be an artist 🙏🙏🙏🙏
For 47 mins and 39 secs , i forgot about everything going on around me and in my life . A brilliant and in the most true sense , it was an unfiltered interview. A magnanimous entity like pankaj sir cant be incorporated in such a short span , he is a man with tons of experiences and life lessons because of his journey. But this interview surely revealed a lot about pankaj sir , and its all thanks to samdhish!!!! ❤️❤️✨️❤️✨️❤️🤟🤟
Absolutely. And your description of this timeless interview is also heartwarming ✌🏼👌🏻💐 These things happen when we meet people we want in our lives with whom we have conversations which feel timeless and relaxing. 🍂🌿
He's just awesome, very proud of his background and identity. Most of Indians who do not want to relate themselves with the rural India should learn from him.
Pankaj Ji is so humble that we can literally feel it! His face clearly shows his lifelong struggle and journey to become an actor which he is now. If somebody tells me to describe humbleness then i would definitely show Pankaj Tripathi's face.
@@smitamin5853 Bhai please don't compare anybody with anyone. Im just talking about Pankaj Tripathi sir and thats it. I didn't talked about Pankaj Tripathi's humbleness so that I can compare his level of humbleness with other people.
A person with his own aura and his own different yet powerful vibe and cherry on the cake being his soft spokenenss...!!! Bhut km log hai jinke interviews ka complete hone ka time pta hi nhi chlta... He is certainly among one
Best thing about Samdish's interview is that, the guests are not looking to entertain the crowd or viewers by framing masala stories, they are genuinely telling stories which automatically becomes interesting.

Sir you can also take some questions from audience through Yt notification before interview.....plz Like wish I don't know u ask about IRFAN SIR or not BC I'm still watching..
30 minutes onwards questioning for next 10 minutes is one of the best insightful questions by an interviewer in history of Interviews across the world --- superb kudos to both
I am also from Bihar and from bhojpuri speaking district. I can't relate to any interview more than this one.....starting from Birthday to NATAK , everything is relatable.....this is hilarious 😂
@@karankapoor2701 yeah you are right and the main reason behind that is the absence of industries and factories in Bihar..... example:- when i was in kota the teachers were from bihar majority of students were from bihar but they are studying in kota .....but i can say that that Bihar will be much better in later half of this century.....see i am from IIT Kanpur and i can see the no. Of students from bihar here and in many sectors Bihar have numbers.....and hopefully they will create jobs opportunities or start-up in Bihar too..... let's hope for the best
I think SP's name was Kunal. Roadside Romeos of our mohallas use to tell these stories every evening - how they escaped police, or how their friends got caught. We kids use to fascinatingly listen to their stories. Pakaj Tripathis mention of the incident aroused nostalgia. How connected we all are through stories.
I have seen very few movies of Pankaj Sir, And He is really a great actor. His acting is so natural and simplicity makes him a great humanbeing. All my best for u Pankaj Sir.
Pankaj Tripathi is a good human being & an extraordinary actor. whenever I listen or saw him he moves me. Every time he connects with audience very easily. Very down to earth person no stardum, no attitude, very simple man feels like he is one of us in our surroundings. Lots of love & respect for you Sir.
@@anshus5905 and ur comment shows that tere gand me mirchi bade aasani se lag jati hai...as if Additi is gonna impress with u on taking stand for her etc. ..chutiya saala
Absolutely loved Pankaj Sir, as always and Samdish in his one of a kind laid back chill vibe but yet so intense. Bihar ka naam roshan kiye hai Pankaj Sir. The way he talks, is deep and soo comforting to ears. How about Tigmanshu Dhulia for the upcoming shot? Or the sensational Kangana and her big mouth? Guru, that would be sensational content.
I feel Samdish needs to calm down... tone down a little.. avoid cutting off the guest in between..Pankaj ji's interviews are really very very interesting, and I have watched most of them. Didn't feel like he was very very comfortable, although tried showing so...
I think that part of him sometimes bothers the listeners. We don’t get the whole pov of the speaker however that part of him sometimes makes it fun, like a little enthusiastic kid wanting to know all and everything 🙏.
This is the first time I have seen this interview. Excellent. I like Pankajjis acting very much. He is a committed natural actor. I have subscribe this show. Very entertaining .
Pankaj Tripathi, a person with a golden heart, the wisdom of a saint, and a walking institution of acting himself! This man literally has zero haters 💖
I saw Powder some time in 2010-11 and ever since then I have been his die-hard fan and crazily searched his work online. It feels so good to finally see him doing more and more work.
Talking with pankaj sir or seeing his any interview will give you some moral value and life lesson So Desi type gentlemen who doesn't have any ego of being cinema actor or fam That what called when a actor come without help of nepotism
A wholesome interview... Pankaj ji's aura is totally different and on top of that samdish is the perfect tadka. Loved it great work @unfilteredbysamdish
Great to watch Pankaj ji, so humble and down to earth. The next few personalities I would love to watch is Varun Grover,Anurag Kashyap Bhuvan Bam, Dhruv Rathee, Zakir khan, Ayushman Khurana, Sachin Pilot, Javed Akhtar/Shabana Azmi, Kumar Vishwas. Hope any of my recommendation makes it.
I haven't watched any BB interviews, used to watch his videos in 2015 tho.Do you think there's any depth to his personality or is he just another guy who got famous?
Samdish is a living genius. An interviewer who just let's the person be. He brings out the most beautiful originality in the person he's interviewing. He's enlightened man ! He has that Howard Stern/Andrew schulz podcast kind of vibe.
Pankaj ji's words dragged me into other world i was imagining things which he went through and I didn't realised it's already 47mins and samdish questions were soo deep loved it ❤️
36:36 on his vices reminds me... Once I met Pankaj Tripathi at the Berlinale after the release of Newton. After the screening, he comes up to the gate where I'm standing. I ask him a question on censorship and cinema, but he's like, "woh sab theek hai, yeh batao tum cigarette peete ho?"
There's an actress named Manisha Koirala, I'd love to see her in your interviews. And the reason behind this I think is.. she is truly a gem our Indian Film Industry has ever had.. As we all know because of some medical condition she was disconnected from the film industry for very long period when the people were wishing to see more and more of her.. I think she (who is not just an actress but a warrior) should be the one in your next interview..
Long time.....samdish.....wish someone interviews you someday.....i love it when you jump from ur seat in most of the interviews and say casually .क्या बोल रहे हो, मैं आपका........
Samdish is an exceptional interviewer. Nice insightful questions & his conversationalist style make him so special! Pankaj Tripathi is a sensation. His earthiness is phenomenal!
That Journalist who asked him the question of getting out of a Character was actually a Filmmaking Student who went to Goa during the IFFI, and that Student was Me. 😭😭😭 It's crazy that he remembered my Question. 😭😭❤️ The most Humble actor I have ever seen in my life till now fr.
Listening to Pankaj Tripathi is a healing process. His words tells how deeply he is connected to his roots. It's a great feeling to know honest actors like him exists, who truly embra the art of acting as well as the art of living. Thanks a lot for this interview.
He is simply a fantastic person. He has so much respect for all Senior artists. I love you, Pankaj ji. His slippers stealing incident of Manoj Bajpayee is so heart touching :)
The most unconventional approach toward interview... A urban guy who can connect with rural areas and people a boy who can talk with great sense of humour with most serious politicians and political issues great!!!
This person is a pure gem. and combination of samdish and pankaj sir is absolutely amazing. such an entertaining video. we love pankaj sir. and I we and I love youuu Samdishhh...!!
I think in addition to the interview you should also include shows on hidden secrets/ celebrations/rituals of India. A life of a transgender. Life at border of India china. Human trafficking, a lost china town of Kolkata or Mumbai. We loved the glimpse of these things in your election coverage. Make more videos on people living at borderline of poverty and their survival. The life of migrants after covid. The stories that we heard during covid crisis. Specially the people from medical backgrounds who lost their life during covid. Life of Kolkata handpulled rickshaws. Life of employees of circus. Survival in extreme weather conditions (extreme hot, extreme cold and extreme rainy conditions). A life of a minimum wage earner 1000-3000 rs per month and challenges associated with
