@@danishtanha007 Few lines that I found interesting, 1) light at the end of a tunnel is usually another training coming towards you. 2) it's not that you have to be at the right place at the right time, You have to be at the right place all the time, and maybe you might get the ball. 3) two things are finite, time and your energy, channel it towards the right thing. 4) he tells his incident with kurosawa in Japan, if you can't convince a producer with one story, as a story teller you must have 20 more to get him. You can extrapolate this to many fields 5) Hero waqt ka naam hai... Also, he mentions zizek briefly as his favorite philosopher... I've heard his talks, he's absolutely crazy, it takes too much effort to understand zizek. Look him up..

Best takeaways Swans in the water are the most graceful: everyone has to find their own water. Wahida Rehman deserves so much recognition. A person has to become a bit selfish to achieve something up to his/her potential.
Tripti I want to connect with the people according to the youtube comments they do on a particular video, I mean it tells about the person what content they watch what they observe in it, Is there any way to do that ? like, should I create a whatsapp group or something? or it's very hard to know the the same vibe people & can take whole life via other platforms ..
First time watch this guy And amazed by his thoughts it feels like he really and truly knows himself I hv learnt alot Please bring these kinda intellectual people thankyou samdish
Best one yet. Genuinely unique mind!!! Also, Samdish being the skilled interviewer he is knows when to probe and when to just slouch back with legs folded 😅
was going througha rough week all the stress depression tension was summing up until I watched this podcast I haven't seen a guy who is this intellectual with this much clearance and confidence. many of his words cleared my thoughts and yepp gave me a little push to go little more. Thanks a lot samdish your energy was also a factor which kept me interested for more than an hour..
The Swan by Rainer Maria Rilke This laboring of ours with all that remains undone, as if still bound to it, is like the lumbering gait of the swan. And then our dying-releasing ourselves from the very ground on which we stood is like the way he hesitantly lowers himself into the water. It gently receives him, and, gladly yielding, flows back beneath him, as wave follows wave, while he, now wholly serene and sure, with regal composure, allows himself to glide.
Probably the best interview of this podcast.. there were a couple of moments when @Samdhish should have just kept quiet. When Sudhir Mishra speaks...just listen.
Samdish's natural casual approach in conversation with Sudesh Mishra elicited a lot of life's lessons. Finite time and finite energy in this short life. This sentence sums up a lot of motivation to remain focused on finding your water. His belief in approaching life like it would be a cauldron of disappointments by giving the analogy of a football center-forward who needs to be present in the right place at the right time, all of the time and yet achieve a handful of goals is the truth of life. This interview could easily prepare, teach and motivate a person to move ahead with renewed strength despite disappointments in life. The regrets that one might have and the Will to live longer to accomplish more rather than pity oneself due to small defeats, is all encompassed in this beautiful narrative. Thoroughly enjoyed and will forever be indelibly etched in my memory. Thank you, both of you.
Stumbled upon this out of nowhere and came out of it absolutely mesmerised. The intellect of Sudhir Mishra seems unparalleled, and I can see why Samdish would want to interview a guy about 20-25yrs older to us.
The Swan / Rainer Maria Rilke This laboring through what is still undone, as though, legs bound, we hobbled along the way, is like the awkward walking of the swan. And dying-to let go, no longer feel the solid ground we stand on every day- is like anxious letting himself fall into waters, which receive him gently and which, as though with reverence and joy, draw back past him in streams on either side; while, infinitely silent and aware, in his full majesty and ever more indifferent, he condescends to glide.

wow! this was mind blowing, what a conversation!! The fact that in this interview, you accepted his energy and let him drive was also so important, great work.
Commenting just so i remember the key takeaway from this interview. We have finite energy and limited time. now what we decide to put in our energy to and how to use our time is up to us ! wise words !!
Samdish and the team Unfiltered, y'all are the gods. The spiritual awakening I receive when y'all give such a thing. This is something what I am receiving, I am thankful and with all gratitude I thank all the team. This is something a food for the hungry like me. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I remember listening to that song at the end of the movie and then played that last part for rest of the month. The song was such a hook into the movie. His instincts were so on spot!

CROWWMAN OH MAN!mere ghar ke bahar dekha kauwwa wo bhi month ya year me ek baar .lekin 1st time i saw crow inside somebody's house like this wandering .
I mean, i watched this interview without any break, paused back to reflect at times.. and the interview was for 1 hour 25 mins ( sometimes in movies you stop after 20 mins, or leave theatre after 1 hour).. but this guy is something.. and interviewer as well 😊.. Happy !!
no one will say it, he is nothing but a big hype....speaks even before letting the question complete... just any normal guy, nothing out of the extra ordinary...(not talking about his film making experience but this interview)
and this comment was just after the first five minutes of the interview, now after seeing the full interview, I can confirm that he has shocked the fak out of me, with such deep gyan, life lessons, and awesome one liners. So not meeting new people regularly in life (to hopefully discover people like Sudhir Mishra) is another addition to my FOMO list, Thanks Samdhish.

Birds chirping in the background, a wise man talking about his respect for his father, revealing secrets of his life, talking about betrayal, grace, it just reminds you of your consiousness and how we take it for granted. There is so much out in this world to intake and learn and give.
Samdish is the only one that has kept the true essence of interviews alive in the present time in india ... Every interview he has done brings out the guest in a way that it so enlightening and feels so casual at the same time... Even the choice of guests he has had...
