19:53 while it’s true that there’s no other Malayalam film like Falimy, I did get some strong “Little Miss Sunshine” film vibes from it. Both of them involves a dysfunctional family going on a road trip/journey, going through challenging/funny situations, and in the end, their relationship with each other getting stronger because of it. Also both films have a quirky grandfather figure who is bonded more with the youngest grandchild, and both the grandparents go through a “death” scenario. In both the films, the mother character is the one who silently bears the burden of keeping everybody as one unit. Maybe he got inspired from it. Just my thoughts. Also Little Miss Sunshine is a really good feel-good movie with lots of funny and tearful moments. .definitely recommend.
