The attack on Orania is not about race it's about their success.

The interviewer, in his preparation for the interview, should have familiarised himself with the more than 100 anti-white laws on our law books.

If a town of 3000 people, which you probably can't even find on a map, is giving you sleepless nights, you don't have any real problems or struggles. I can't imagine a more comfortable, luxurious, privileged life than one where one of your biggest worries is the fact that Orania exists.

The comments have been overwhelmingly positive to this interview, I think that's it's an indication that South Africans have come to realize that the concept of a rainbow nation is not really the way to go. Tribes across South America were not forced into one big melting pot and exist today in small groups retaining their individual cultures, beliefs, and ways of life. This does not however make them racists. People should be allowed to choose with who they associate and how to live their lives. It does not mean that they cannot help other groups of people achieve the same as in the case of orania who are very much involved in other Community developments around them. ❤

Can people with nothing better to do just leave people of Orania alone. What is it thats stopping one from buying land and have people of the same culture and vision in that land. I’m amazed that the culture of the majority of South Africans is one of feeling threatened by a meager 2500 people who get off their rear ends and do things for themselves and are successful at what they do . This poses the question of why , if they are so worried about what the Afrikaner is achieving for themselves, do they not remover their index finger out of their rear end and do something similar for their own communities . I suspect it has to do with the culture of entitlement and it is easier to “hijack “ what somebody else has built. What is more obvious is the lack of ability to achieve anything for themselves.

The funny thing is that if the Indians built an indian only town no one would complain, we would all be happy for them! If Zulus built a Zulu only town - other cultures would be happy and we would celebrate it and come visit. And mostly, we would understand! If the aim is a non-racial society, then BEE and AA must be removed as well, Black ownership laws should be removed, tenders should not only be for Black people. South Africa has one of the most progressive Constitution's in the world and gives freedom of association and Section 235 allows the right of self-determination of any community sharing a common cultural and language heritage.

A missed question: If Orania must not or should not exist - should we not allow other indigenous communities or groups to exist with their own rules and cultural space within the broader context of South Africa? These small-town developments should be encouraged! Imagine a khoisan, bantu, xhosa, zulu dedicated town. Each group will have a sense of individual belonging not to mention the tourism benefits of encouraging all of this.

Let's look at facts. After 1994 all the black homelands still exist, with their kings where whites cannot buy land. These are vast areas. In other words the black tribes are aloud to have their homelands and whites not! Orania is not even a homeland but a town. In South-Africa Afrikaners are being discriminated against when ot comes to work. BEE is being enforced. Also no state entity wants to speak Afrikaans and Afrikaans schools are being forced to accommodate English learners. So this video is about jealousy-hate against Afrikaners. Since when are people of the same race and culture not allowed to flock together? Jealousy is an ugly thing!

I am a black person and I fully support what Orania is doing...as Blacks we lack discipline plus we do not respect ourselves. Look at the number of children that foreigners give birth to as soon as they come to South Africa. We as South Africans are afraid to produce children due to understanding the state of our economy but foreigners do not care, just because they want citizenship. We are not living in a non-racial SA. In fact we are living in one of the most racist countries in the world where citizens of our country are regulated by racial quotas as to obtaining work or promotion. No other country in the world denies a person the ability to work and feed their family based only on the colour of their skin colour and ethnicity. I am always mesmerised with the SA's lack of common identity "South African". The citizens all tell me their racial/tribal identity every day.
