I am not disagreeing, but that win against PSU on the road in '21 made me a believer. They beat Wiscy on the road, but Wiscy was not as good as in previous years, and UM really controlled that entire game. The MSU loss felt semi-fluckish. When they got down to PSU, I was thinking here we go again. Then Erick All (who I still miss in a UM uniform) trucks up the side line and we beat them. That is when I first believed Harbaugh's teams had turned a corner.
The mere fact that jim Harbaugh was gone 6 games and michigan beat #10 penn state and #15 iowa and # 4 Alabama and 2 # 2 teams in Ohio state and Washington is totally astonishing
Penn State blows and everyone knew it - Iowa wasn't good and neither was Ohio State. Michigan has a pansy schedule EVERY year and they had to cheat their way to the playoffs this year. Jesus you folks are weak
JJ is just amazing. From the “three deep breaths” tweet he sent in 2020 (while he was still in high school) to the “we’ll be back, and I promise that” pledge following the Fiesta Bowl debacle to his reminders throughout 2022 that the “job’s not done” and “we’ve got one more” until the job WAS done in Houston the night of 08JAN2024…the young man seemed to be willing it into existence (not without considerable assistance, of course). I’ve been a Michigan fan since Gerald Ford was President, and believe me, happy endings like that just aren’t the norm for this program at all. This one will be remembered for a looooong time.
That catch by Wilson on the final drive in the Rose Bowl has to be the play of the year for us. If he don't snatch that out of the air the season is over because the DB was intercepting that ball. What a season!!! GO BLUE for life!!
Thank you for putting this film together. You captured the agony of defeat and the thrill of victory!!! Sincerely, a Michigan fan of 40 years from California
Michigan Football is my favorite team of any sport to watch. I love them and have been cheering for them since I was a little kid growing up in Minnesota. My earliest Michigan memories are Harbaugh as QB, but I really ramped up my fandom during the Tyrone Wheatley days. I had a Tim Biakabutuka jersey in high school. I remember winning the whole thing in 1997. And now finally we are back on top! It was a long long time coming with a lot of ups and downs. Close calls. Really tough losses like Ohio State in 2006 and Ohio State in 2016 (robbed!). Both made me sick to my stomach for days. But having gone through the lean times over the past 20 some years, and even some really tough times, it was beautiful and amazing and awesome and perfect to watch them win it all this year. It made me incredibly happy. More so than any sports related win in memory. It all seems like a blur now, the Harbaugh era, but I'll always remember the whole period, especially the last 3 years, with fondness. And that moment of Harbaugh coming out of the tunnel against Utah in 2015. Coming home to lead his school back to Glory. I'll always remember that. It was a loss. but I'll always remember that day. Same with his first press conference. The Prodigal son returned. And here we are! National Champions! Thanks for the memories, Jim4UM!
The first few minutes were really hard to watch. Never saw Michigan in my lifetime win the Natty!! So proud of you guys and congrats Harbaugh!! I’ll be cheering you on as you coach the chargers !!
So here's the thing.... I remember the 1997 season..... and the 2024 season.... one was 12-0 and one was 15-0 if you could play it on x-box or play station whatever number they're on.... what team would you pick the 97 team or the 23 team
Mr Brightside playing when the squad first beats OSU was a great touch. I loved how you put this series of highlights together… it’s up there with an old video highlighting the ‘97 defense
This was the MSU game that cost them their coach. His boasting on his way out, made his own words come back and bite him “The Pride comes before the Fall!” He said that about Michigan calling them “Little Brother” and when they beat Michigan he looked up while leaving and said “Where did all the Wolverines go?” We remembered!
The ones who stayed, the fan base, the coaches and the stars like Will Johnson all deserved this. What a year. As the confetti fell, I couldn’t believe the ride was over.
20 years of be been a fan 20 years I’ve seen some amazing things and some heart wrenching moments Losing to Ohio state in 2016 was probably the most heart wrenching for me!! These last 3 years .. this tough culture, these players, how bad they want it..’its brought the love back for me I just really really wish Mike hart would have gotten a win while playing!
Wel Done Showing Our Journey as A Team and The. "CULTURE OF WHAT WE STAND FOR IN MICHIGAN!!!" Our Passion and Drive to be Great thru all the adversities and Absolute Nonsense the League and All of Our Bitter and Jealous haters tried to throw at Us!!! These Teams Embodied the Saying " THOSE WHO STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS!!!" TEAM#144 WENT FROM LEGENDS TO LEGENDARY WE ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS GO BLUE FOREVA 〽️〽️〽️🏈🏈🏈〽️〽️〽️🏆🏆🏆🏆
I am really going to miss Blake Corum. That guy is all heart and so tough. Despite his stature, he plays so big. Whatever NFL drafts him is going to love the way he competes. I've always said that he runs sometimes like he's 6'2'' and 225 lbs. At other times he shows the scat back type skills. He is definitely a multi-dimensional player.
My daughter became a M fan because of me.I took her to her first game and it was against App St.We survived the down years like all of us fans!Ti me to celebrate the NC for months to come! Thank you Jim Harbaugh and good luck with the Chargers!
No man. Business is done. Harbaugh took us to the mountain. We climbed that mountain . For this year, we are the best NCAA football team in the nation. Bet
New subscriber... thanks for taking the time to put this together! This has been an incredible 9-year roller coaster, with the ending that we all expected when we got on the ride... National Championship! MICHIGAN vs EVERYBODY BET. F*-K OHIO GO BLUE 💙💛🏈〽️🏆
A head football coach who has been suspended for three games TWICE in the same season for two different Level One violations. This has never happened before. BET = Basically Everything’s Tainted
You hear this "unfinished business" talk a lot especially in college football. Actually, I recall Michigan having the "revenge tour" that never quite panned out. But to hear it and actually see it followed through was pretty awesome. None of us will ever know the true sacrifices these players made to make this happen. The pain they played through, the extra hours in the weight room. It was special to watch, and this fan certainly appreciates the effort!
Team 144's legend is etched in stone. These are ALL guys whose first and/or second years of college were completely torn apart by COVID. A lot of people have quickly forgotten how devastating it was before vaccines were made for it, especially on college campuses for kids returning from all over the world to campus. Their rise to dominance, though, was inevitable.
Legends-these Michigan men are true legends and will remembered as such. From, “We’ll be back-I promise,” to, “Those who stay will be champions,” to, “Business is finished.” These men willed this triumph into being with their blood, sweat, and tears. Michigan men-legends all.
I just subscribed to your channel. I am in my mid-50s, I come from three generations of Michigan alums, and I have been a Wolverine fan my whole life. So please believe me when I say that (1) I'm true Blue, and (2) this is the best fan-made video that I've ever seen. Great work!
Watching this at 12:30am from Australia. As an American and former Michigander, GO BLUE! Nice video by the way, could tell it took at least a few months to make. Would watch a few more times. Thanks! WHO'S GOT IT BETTER THAN US? (I went to Rose Bowl and can't stop saying it now)
I lived down under from 2011 - 2016 and as a Michigander myself watched a lot of Michigan games from Sydney. I was running on the costal trail and saw a girl wearing an Ohio state T-shirt coming towards me as she passed I yelled go blue and the look on her face was priceless.
Been watching since 2019 and is just an awesome and humble experience watching EVERY single game this past season and watch my team win it all. ✨🏈💛💙🏈✨I love every single one of these wolverines 🎉who’s better than us? Nobody🎉💛💙🏈💛💙🏈
Absolutely fantastic work. loved it, your best work yet. Great music choice, great timing for it. Great media clips, the works. It's all just superb work!
As a Michigan fan since 1972 what's great about this redemption beating Ohio State three straight times beating one of the greatest coaches in college football history having him retire off that loss then the top it off Winning the national championship GO BLUE
Go Blue! This video was absolutely incredible and deserves millions of views. You just gained a new subscriber. Keep up the good work Jesus loves everybody.
I became a Michigan fan at 6 years old watching Fox sports Detroit replays of the hockey team here in Texas and I've lived and died by this school ever since.... WHO'S GOT IT BETTER THAN US!!!!
A much better experience to be reminded of those hard hard loses over the time. That horn frog and Spartan loss is still not easy to forget but Blue finally tasted glory.
Somebody should get this to Michigan organizers at the stadium. This whole video should be played 35 minutes before the game starts the opening week or second game of the season when we face Texas. Everyone should experience this video. Shout out to whoever developed this.
I shed a tear throughout my whole life I haven’t experienced watching my wolverines win a chip now I did 😢 it feels so good we proved the haters wrong I’m so happy with how far we came
Video tears me up. So awesome! The last 3 years so much fun! At one time it felt as if Harbaugh would never get us there. Then 2021 happened then 2022 even better then 2023 even better to win whole thing!
This summed up the journey perfectly. I gained even more appreciation for their accomplishment this year. Thanks for posting this. As fun as the national championship game was, my favorite moment was that cold wintry day in Ann Arbor when they finally beat Ohio State after many years of losing.
