In 1977, my last year of college, I began my next Super 8 science fiction movie.
I had a rough story in mind about explorers establishing a colony on an Earth-like planet, which was supposed to be uninhabited, but proved to be otherwise. I had ideas for certain sequences, but not a complete script, or even a title. Never-the-less, I painted some backgrounds, built a few sets and models and filmed several scenes. However, once I started full-time employment in 1978, I had no time to spare and the movie was never completed.
Now, over forty years later, I’ve edited that raw footage into order. I will explain my recollections as we go. I hope you enjoy this glimpse of what might have been!
