Techno's lyrics are so hard-hitting, while Tommy has lost the usual spark that would make him argue to hell and back, yelling and cursing until he gets his home back; now Tommy just wants peace. This is absolutely amazing!
techno wants peace by destroying power (aka governments), as they are are almost always corrupt after a bit, and tommy doesn't want to destroy his home.
I really expected the techno verse to quote Wilbur in his final moments “MY UNFINISHED SYMPHONY PHIL, FOREVER UNFINISHED” just for the gut punch into tommy, which is in character
Techno's lyrics hit home and describes how he now feels about Tommy since he has joined the long list of people betraying him. Very few have yet betrayed him (Phil, Dream and the new members, etc.)

yes! i love tommy but he rambles a lot lol. when i write songs for him i try to go back through the vods and make notes on what he’s actually trying to say so that i can better get his points across haha
I'm absolutely going to continue going through, listening to, and commenting lots of your songs, because they're all great!!! Of the two of them I solidly side with Techno (Ranboo's really my favorite, though), but you capture the perspectives in such a way that it really makes me sympathize with both. I've always been able to see Tommy's side to an extent, but you portrayed it beautifully here!
thank you so much! as a techno stan, i had an easier time seeing his perspective, but i think that people forget that tommy is a child who has been through several wars and has been traumatized repeatedly. even though his ideas aren't as relatable, they are still valid. im really glad you liked the song!
You see, Tommy’s nose is broken because he pulled an idiot moment, and ran into a door head first. Also love how you added in stuff about the city of Troy. Really fits techno’s character. I just finished learning about Troy and Greek mythology in my SS (social studies, not the other SS) class and I’ve still got to learn about it in theater.

Okay... uh- So I was looking for Tommy fansongs to add to my playlist for my C!Tommy and, this came up so i decided to give it a re-listen. So now.. my mind's just sitting in the creative corner like; Tommy has Wilbur's old guitar/a keyboard[or piano], and a set of lyrics he's written as himself and Techno. Sitting and playing along. As if he was trying to covince himself that, Techno was right. After, the doomsday war; and before his death. And now, I don't know how to feel. L
at first i couldn’t remember the unfinished symphony reference but i knew it was one, then remembered wilbur saying multiple times when he lost lmanburg that lmanburg was his unfinished symphony
If there was someone who is able to make an anime about DSMP and the members voice acting- This song could be like those themes for every character in an anime lmao-

I had to tell my self repeatedly “we are not gonna cry cause of this song no your moms right there you are in class this is fine you will not cry. Cause of a song.” I’m probably still going to cry-
what it hurts me from this situation is that both sides are hurt in one hand tommy had to see technoblade the person he saw as a brother destroy l'manburg the place he used to call his home all the memories,the friends,the good times that he ones had as the bad ones to,the desire the liberty and his objetives,the last memory of his brother wilbur were all in lmamburg and not to mention that technoblade destroying lmamburg is almost as re watching wilbur destroy lmamburg both were really important brother figures for him make me thing that this event probably give him back some trauma from the last event and in the other hand is technoblade a calm and kind person who was willing to help tommy a person that technoblade also se as a young brother but has to see and experience betrayal ones again for tommy cause he chose tubbo and the people from lmamburg over him people that hurt and betray tommy so many times where chosen over him to add to that he was used as a killing machine by the people he accept to help they see him as the blade someone who they can used and then ignore and left behind when he wasnt necesary anymore men this two hurt me so much i just cant. Damn i make it to long sorry to any person who had to read all this. ;-;
