There's a lot of confusion on why these cutscenes weren't used in V4, but I'll explain it. The reason why these cutscenes weren't in V4 was because Dozen (the guy who made them) did a whoopsie and accidentally deleted all of the cutscenes. He said there was no way to get them back, therefore loggo replaced the cutscenes. Hope everyone understands.
The animator left to work on their own stuff but let the team use any animations they made so we will see some of these and new ones with the same, must I say amazing, animation style. Dunno if the unfinished ones are gonna be in. EDIT: LMAO THEY BACK IN THE TEAM RADDD
Fun thing I noticed: compared to the actual crewmates, Black has a rectangular glass instead of a circular one, not really anything big but it could hint he made the suit himself, and the other imposters killed the original red or green or whatever colour they used
I mean, impostors in the original game are parasitic shapeshifters, maybe he tried shifting and didn't realize the visor was square. I also noticed, but I think its just a small thing. Notice their oxegyn tank too! It looks a little different!
If Dozen wanted to restore the cutscenes, he could potentially take this old footage and animate over it. Would be hard because no layers but it could work.
@Mazen Malan what if black is a re-manifestation of iris, since the fact it appeared only in cutscenes featuring black, the red eye on the visor (the star shaped one) and how hes much more powerful than others
Fun fact: Clowfoe, the creator of fnf vs imposter actually has a thing with innersloth, the creator of among us itself but he hasn't confirmed what that type of relationship he has with innersloth
1:31 im nlg this is probably my favorite cutscene so far, the way how black gets shooted to his viewfinder and then stares with rage at the crewmate and the crewmate telling us to run, just epic, maybe this could be the cutscene before danger
U mean his visor? Yeah he's special and has a rectangle visor. Also it's ether the cutscene before danger or back 3rd song. (Dont tell me the name of the 3rd song) because blacks parasite form has a crack in the visor.
I find it really cool that the imposters are getting their own intro animations now! Not to mention how the kill cooldown is an actual thing in this universe! Also BLUE CREWMATE WITH A GUN BLUE CREWMATE WITH A GUN
This shows how strong black is and that everyone is afraid of him even other imposters, prob because he got mad at them. But if they help he supports them, shows how merciless he is. He seems to always be imposter.
It would have been great to see these animations in the finale update, too bad they couldn't, I would have been willing to wait longer for them to finish
Quick Update on Impostor: The reason it’s taking so long is because those cutscenes that were shown in this video (besides the ones that were intentionally shown in like a trailer or something) were never meant to be shown. The only reason they got shown were because that guy left the impostor team and he thought he wouldn’t come back (which he ended up coming back) so now basically they have to remake all the unintentionally leaked cutscenes. Hopefully this informs you of why it’s taking so long. Release Date: As of yesterday, we have a confirmed release date of January 1st, 2023z
for those who didnt know, the first cutscene is actually a SSundee reference (i think). Basically because the first among us character in the cutscene is SSundee's among us character whenever he makes an among us video. ANOTHER reason i think this is also because he is playing fortnite in the cutscene, which is another game SSundee makes lots of videos on. I could either be right about this, or im completely wrong and its just a coincidence.. lmao
So thats why the cutscenes feel rushed. Explains much these would of been way better. Not saying the current one's in their replacement weren't bad but the animation different felt off.
I have some reasons why some were scrapped. 0:54 was scrapped because black and white never had to appear in polus 1:25 was scrapped due to having old version of black paradise, can be seen after blue shoots in his face It's not real reasons I just think so
Yes I'm late here but I just noticed that 1:25 has the classic eye sketches from early mods like Whitty, Hex, Anders. It's a cool call back that (like many things from this specific preview) wasn't put into the finale mod because of time constraints.
villains fandom wiki states that there was an unused cutscene where Black and White found Red's body(assumably in the lava),Black didnt show any emotion and White was horrified.
If there is ever a among us movie, whoever animated the imposter v4 cutscenes have to do the animations if there was ever an among us movie it’s so good lol
no white has a cooldown it's basically confirmed that red continued singing so his kill was ready and i honestly don't know about black people think his a hacker or something but i don't know
